Saying goodbye to our beloved companions is one of the most difficult things we do as pet owners. We know these decisions are not made lightly and that they are made from a place of selfless love. ❤️

Our goal at Harvest Pointe Animal Hospital is to help guide and support you through this decision, making it as comfortable as possible for you and your companion.

We realize that coming into the hospital for this last visit may add more anxiety for some pets and people. That’s why we also provide in-home euthanasia visits from a registered veterinary technologist for cat, rabbit, and exotic patients that have an established relationship with our veterinarians.

Ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive tool that helps us see what we can’t feel—giving us clearer answers and better direction for your pet’s care.

An ultrasound is recommended by your veterinarian as part of a diagnostic work up. The imaging is done in clinic by one of our ultrasound-trained Registered Veterinary Technologists or veterinarians.

We commonly use ultrasound to:
• Assess organ size, shape, and texture
• Investigate abnormal bloodwork
• Detect masses or cysts
• Diagnose pregnancy

Today, we’re celebrating two incredible members of our team, Will and Wyatt. 💙

What started as volunteering turned into two years of dedication, hard work, and becoming an irreplaceable part of the Harvest Pointe family. From helping our clients at reception to supporting our veterinary team behind the scenes, they’ve always shown up with kindness, professionalism, and an incredible work ethic.
Their dream has always been to become veterinarians, and we’re so excited to share that they’ve both been accepted into veterinary school this fall! 🎉🐾

While we’re incredibly sad to see them go, we couldn’t be prouder. Watching them grow from volunteers into valued team members, and now future veterinarians, has been such a privilege. We have no doubt they’ll make amazing veterinarians and positively impact so many animals and families throughout their careers.

Congratulations, Will and Wyatt! Thank you for everything you’ve done for our team. We’ll miss you more than you know, but we can’t wait to see all that you accomplish. ❤️🎓

Some heroes wear capes. Ours usually wear scrubs and are covered in fur, feathers, slobber, and occasionally mystery fluids.
