This sweet clever boy passed his training classes and we couldn’t be prouder.

Thank you Katie Barnert + her husband for all the love you give him every day. He’s thriving and we are so grateful 🤍

Welcome our prospect 🐶

There’s a little change of plans, but just as much excitement! 🐾 We’ve chosen a pup from a different mom the lovely (Lola) McCullagh’s Gun-Totin’ Lola who is just as amazing! The father is the same! (Ryder) McCullagh’s Blue Hellava Ryder and there’s plenty to celebrate in both pedigrees.

Lola’s ancestry includes several conformation champions while Ryder’s includes champions and a Grand Champion as well. Both pedigrees feature GCHS CH Studios Outlaw Tagalong PT—a Silver Grand Champion with a herding Pre-Trial Tested title. There are also recorded hip and elbow results for several ancestors, giving us meaningful family history to appreciate alongside their achievements.

A heartfelt thank you to my friend Bonnie Edmundson at RnB Cattle Dogs in (Libby, Montana) for helping us choose this special boy. Your guidance means so much to us! 💜

First and foremost he’ll be a loved member of our family. Both Lola and Ryder have clear results on their own genetic health panels. Making him clear by parentage! We’re excited to watch our boy develop and evaluate his health, structure and temperament as he matures, with high hopes for his future in our program.

The countdown to the end of November is on! 🐾💙

One of our boys out of Zuul and Ryder! Look at that gorgeous mottled colouring! 😍 Getting his very own tub filled up because apparently the water dog genes came from BOTH sides. Like mother, like father…like son. LMFAO! 🤣💦

Dart caught in a lovely free stack, looking handsome without even trying 🤍 Of course the fence had to get in the way of a good photo 😂 Still worth sharing for everyone who enjoys keeping up with us. We appreciate you making us part of your regular rounds 😉

Bentley is enjoying life on the Gulf Coast! 🌊🐾 This lucky boy spends his winters in Texas with his family, trading the Canadian cold for some southern sunshine! ☀️ We love getting updates and seeing the adventures our Double MK Heelers get to be part of. ❤️

It’s confirmed! 🐾 We’re excited to be welcoming a male prospect from RNB Cattle Dogs (Libby, Montana)! This AKC litter is from a repeat pairing of (Ryder) sire and (Kiki) dam. So our future boy will be a full brother to Tuff the boy we had planned to bring home who sadly passed away. That makes this especially meaningful to us. ❤️

The puppies are due any day now! Our boy will be AKC registered, with plans to register him with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) as our first CKC addition. His future role in our breeding program will depend on his development, temperament and health testing. Genetically he will be clear by parentage.

We will continue our ASDR registrations and pedigree tracking established with Zuul as we welcome this new line into our program.

We’re so excited for this next chapter for Double MK Heelers! 🐾

PS…after looking into the AKC to CKC registration process it’s a lot more straightforward than some make it sound. Sometimes the hardest part is taking the time to read the requirements 😉 I have my suspicions about why it was made to sound so difficult but I’ll leave it at that. LOL 😂
