🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

I love them all—the old & weird, the anxious, little old dogs who like to be carried part of the walk, and big bouncy puppies who are certain they could catch the rabbit if given a chance. I love blind old dogs who charge fearlessly forward but need guidance around curbs and other hazards, and every wonderfully unique pup in between.

Tell your pup I said they’re a very good dog… and dish out a little extra liver! ❤️

Dear Diary 🐾

I spent a week at camp and kept myself VERY busy! I helped with the construction of new garden beds—mostly through close supervision, of course. I would have been more helpful if I weren’t so terribly unlucky in the thumb department. 🐾

There were daily walks with important sniffing and neighbourhood news to investigate. I took my responsibilities as Head of Neighborhood Watch very seriously, keeping a close eye on everything happening in the vicinity 🐾

Between walks, garden-bed inspections, and security patrols, it was a busy week 😴🐶🐾

Goose & Maverick 😺 ❤️

Tall, handsome, and very much bonded with each other, these two brothers have perfected the art of enjoying a good vacation together. 😻 Most of their time is spent curled up side by side, with occasional breaks to catch a breeze and keep an eye on the neighbourhood from their window ledges. 🌿🐛

Birds, bugs, fresh air… and each other. What more could two brothers ask for? 😺
