A pet store should feel like it belongs in the neighbourhood. 🐾🏡

That’s why we love supporting Canadian-made products, stocking local favourites, and creating stores that feel welcoming to the pets and people who walk through our doors. 🇨🇦🤎

Nix wanted us to remind you about the amazing kibble, First Mate! First Mate originated in a fisherman’s British Colombia fish yard when strays kept breaking in for the yummy scraps!

They use whole prey meat meals, which means each meat meal contains meat, organs, and bone, rather than lower quality cuts.

They’re also vigilant about cross-contamination, and one of the first kibbles we recommend for pets with allergies!

If that’s not tempting enough to give them a try, a cup of their kibble contains around 500 calories, while most competitors contain 400. This results in a longer-lasting bag for you, and a more nutrient-rich meal for your cat or dog.

Call or swing by today to geek out with us about this amazing food!
