Small dogs are still dogs. 🐾

Their size does not mean they need less training, exercise, enrichment, or structure. Small dogs still require physical activity, mental stimulation, biological outlets, and opportunities to make appropriate choices.

We need to move beyond treating unwanted behaviour as “cute” or assuming small dogs should tolerate being picked up, handled, or placed in uncomfortable situations. They deserve the same consent, agency, safety, and thoughtful training we provide to larger dogs.

Small body. Same needs. Same respect.
