🌈 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day 🐾

Today, we remember all the beloved pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, the companions who filled our homes with joy, left paw prints on our hearts, and became part of our families.

Working in emergency and specialty veterinary medicine means we are often entrusted with caring for pets and their families during some of their most difficult moments. At Boreal, we pride ourselves on providing a compassionate and supportive environment, helping families feel cared for as they navigate difficult decisions, saying goodbye, and the grief that follows.

We are so proud of Dr. Vavrek and Dr. Delgado and the incredible impact they’ve made during their time with us. Thank you both for bringing your dedication, compassion, and passion for veterinary medicine to every department you rotated through. Your hard work, teamwork, and willingness to learn made a difference every day — not only for our patients and clients, but for our entire team.

As you move on to your next adventures, we’re excited to see all that you will accomplish.

Our oncology team is incredibly thankful, humbled, and honored to be recognized with the Trupanion Veterinary Team of the Year Award. ❤️

This team brings so much compassion, dedication, and heart to every patient and family they care for. They don’t just provide cancer care — they build deep, lasting relationships with their patients, supporting them through chemotherapy, celebrating the good days, and holding their paws through the hardest moments at end of life.

They proudly serve pets and families across northern Alberta and beyond, making a difference every single day through their kindness and expertise.

Our oncology team specifically was nominated for the hard work they do each and every day to battle cancer in our dear furry family members. Coco Nut’s story was written by her owner, Shannon, and highlights the great individualized and specialized care our oncology team provides.
