🍂🍁 Hello Fall! 🍁🍂

As the leaves begin to change into their beautiful autumn colors and the crisp fall air settles in, we are taking a moment to reflect on what has been an incredibly busy and exciting summer here at Cedar Ridge Canine!

This summer brought some major improvements to our facility, including the completion of our brand new "Pooch Palace" kennel upgrade, new pens, gates, and fencing, and a month-long office repair project to help keep the main ship running smoothly. Needless to say, there was always something happening around here!

Now that the dust has settled, everything is looking fantastic, cleaned up, and ready for the season ahead. With Halloween just around the corner, our annual decorations are starting to appear, and we're excited to bring a little festive fun to the farm once again! 🎃👻

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful clients for your patience, understanding, and support throughout the construction and repair process. Every improvement was made with one goal in mind: creating an even better experience for your beloved pups.

A very special thank you also goes out to our incredible staff. Through all the noise, detours, and daily challenges of working around construction, they continued to show up with smiles on their faces and the same loving care that they give your dogs every single day. We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated team.

We truly feel lucky in so many ways and are excited to settle into the quieter, calmer days of fall and winter. 🍂❤️

We're sharing some photos of the projects inside and outside of the kennel/daycare that kept us busy this summer, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We hope you enjoy watching our little corner of Cedar Ridge continue to grow!

Thank you for being part of the Cedar Ridge Canine family. 🐾

🐶 A Quick Health Note for Our Cedar Ridge Pack 🐶

We’ve been notified that a couple of our regular pups have come down with kennel cough. We don’t yet know where it started, but we wanted to be open with our community.

If your dog has a cough or isn’t feeling 100%, please consider having them checked and keep them home until they’re back to normal. Most dogs have great immunity and continue to attend without any issues, but we want to stay ahead of things and keep everyone healthy.

Dogs who are feeling well and showing no symptoms are absolutely welcome to come play. Thanks for helping us keep Cedar Ridge a safe and happy place for all our furry friends. 💚

🎉🐾 BIG NEWS FROM CEDAR RIDGE CANINE! 🐾🎉

We’ve been keeping a huge secret since June… and we’re finally ready to spill the kibble!

Just when we thought our kennel couldn’t get any better — with the amazing space our Cedar Ridge pups already enjoy, we went ahead and made it even more incredible. Because why stop at perfection when you can add more perfection?

Cedar Ridge is over the moon to announce the newest addition to our facility:
✨ The Pooch Palace ✨
This new wing of our facility is a bright, fun, tail‑wagging paradise built to give our favourite Cedar Ridge Clientele dogs even more room to relax, play, and feel right at home. After a few final touches, The Pooch Palace will welcome its first guests on September 20th!

This dream came to life thanks to some truly amazing people:

🐶 My son Ryan & his incredible partner John (his Father-In-Law) — who took my vision and turned it into a full‑blown masterpiece.
🎨 I got stuck with the never‑ending painting job (multiple colors… what was I thinking?). My painting days are officially on pause for a very long time.
🔧 Geo‑Tech Industries (who happens to be my awesome dad Garry) — thank you for supplying the materials Ryan needed to fabricate these absolutely stunning kennel doors. They look great in photos, but in person? Next level.
🛠️ Ken (my husband) — for helping install the new fence posts like a champ, which added to his already large honey-do list!.
🌲 Luthers Woodcraft — for stringing the wire and building the fabulous enclosure for our new play area. The dogs are going to LOVE it.
And a special mention to my dog models Opie and Tig! They put their stamp of approval on the facility and pen for their mommy.....

We’re still wrapping up a few finishing touches around the facility, so thank you to everyone for your patience while we make Cedar Ridge even more amazing.

We can’t wait for you and your pups to see The Pooch Palace. It’s been a labour of love, teamwork, and a whole lot of dog‑inspired joy.

Here’s to more wagging tails, happy stays, and exciting things ahead at Cedar Ridge Canine! 💚🐾
