These aren’t meant to offend you.
They’re meant to make you think.
If one of these made you feel defensive, ask yourself why.
The truth can be uncomfortable, but that doesn’t mean you don’t love your dog.
Some of the biggest breakthroughs in training don’t happen when we teach our dogs something new. They happen when we’re willing to look at the habits, beliefs, and inconsistencies we’ve unintentionally created ourselves.
You don’t have to agree with every slide.
In fact, I expect some people won’t.
But if even one slide made you stop, question something, or see your dog from a different perspective, then this post did exactly what it was meant to do.
Dog training isn’t about protecting our ego. It’s about giving our dogs the clarity, structure, and leadership they deserve.
