Meet Xiaohei (ๅฐ้ป‘), a sweet 1-year-old girl, a Chinese Native Dog with beautiful tan markings above her eyes. She weighs just 8 kg and is looking for a safe place to call home. ๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿ’” Her story

Xiaohei was originally a stray living in a park. Sadly, someone wanted to kill her and take her blood because of superstitious beliefs about black dogs. She was rescued just in time, and now weโ€™re hoping to give her the safe, loving future she deserves. โค๏ธ

โœจ A little about Xiaohei:

* ๐Ÿ–ค Calm, stable, and independent
* ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿถ Gets along with both cats and dogs
* ๐ŸŒณ Has a consistent outdoor potty routine
* ๐Ÿฆฎ Comfortable with a leash

โœˆ๏ธ Good news! A flight volunteer is available to bring Xiaohei to Vancouver at the end of this month!

๐Ÿก Weโ€™re looking for a foster family for approximately 3 months, or a permanent adopter who can give her a forever home.

What fostering Xiaohei involves:

* ๐Ÿš— Being able to pick her up at the airport
* ๐Ÿ“ธ Providing regular updates, photos, and videos so we can help her find a permanent family
* ๐Ÿค Helping her adjust to home life and become comfortable in a family environment
* ๐Ÿพ Assisting with meet-and-greets with potential adopters

Meet Laifu (ๆฅ็ฆ), a lovely little girl around 1 year old, weighing just 7 kg! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’•

Laifu was rescued as a stray, and she has the sweetest, gentlest personality. She can be a little shy around new people at first, but once she gets comfortable with you, she becomes incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her humans. ๐Ÿฅน

โœจ Why Laifu is such a special girl:

๐Ÿพ Loves her walks! She is comfortable on a leash and gets SO excited whenever itโ€™s time to go outside!

๐Ÿงธ Great at entertaining herself. She loves toys and happily plays by herself when home alone.

๐Ÿฅ Loved by the veterinary staff. During her spay surgery and hospital stay, she got along wonderfully with all the staff and was consistently praised for her sweet temperament.

๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿถ Friendly with people and animals. She is friendly with strangers, cats, and dogs. She can get a little excited when she sees kittens, but even when our resident cat hisses at or swats her, she never gets upset. She has such a gentle nature!

๐Ÿ– Not picky and no food guarding. She enjoys kibble, treats, and dried meat. You can even take her food away while she is eating, and she remains calm around people.

๐Ÿ  A wonderful house companion. She can stay home alone without showing separation anxiety. Based on our home camera, she sleeps quietly until around 3โ€“4 PM while her humans are out, then wakes up to play with her toys.

๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ Quiet and non-destructive. She has never damaged any furniture and almost never barks, except in special situations such as being confined in a crate.

๐ŸŒฟ Her daily routine:

* Goes outside 2โ€“3 times a day for potty breaks, usually morning and evening
* Loves drinking water
* Experienced carsickness on her first car ride and is gradually getting used to travelling by car

๐Ÿค What kind of home is Laifu looking for?

Laifu would love a patient, loving family who can give her a little time to warm up and help her feel safe. Once she trusts you, youโ€™ll discover a sweet, affectionate little companion with a wonderful temperament.

Lixia is a 1-year-old boy weighing 8.3 kg, looking for a loving forever home! ๐Ÿค

๐Ÿ’› A little about Lixia:

* ๐Ÿฅฐ Affectionate and loves being around his people
* ๐Ÿ  Can stay home alone without separation anxiety
* ๐Ÿ• A good little watchdog with strong territorial instincts
* ๐ŸŒณ Excellent outdoor potty habits
* ๐Ÿ’• Tends to feel more comfortable around younger women and may not be suitable for a home with elderly family members

๐Ÿฉบ A note about his health: Lixia had surgery for bilateral patellar luxation (kneecap dislocation in both knees). He is doing well in his daily life, but should avoid strenuous running, jumping, and other high-impact activities.

Nuomi (๐Ÿšsticky rice in Chinese) was rescued after being found wandering the streets ALL ALONE.

Thanks to his rescuers, he has left his stray life behind and grown into a healthy, happy, and affectionate boy who's ready to find his forever family in Canada!

๐Ÿ“š Age: Approximately 1 year old

๐ŸŽ Weight: 22 kg

๐Ÿ„ Personality: Friendly, playful, affectionate, and loves being around people. He gets along well with other dogs, especially female dogs.

๐Ÿฉบ Health: Neutered, fully vaccinated, and in excellent health.

๐ŸŽ“ Training: Knows "sit" and "shake hands" Walks well on a leash.

Despite his young age, 3-months old Cola was left outside a veterinary clinic because his previous owner did not want to spend the equivalent of $7 on his vaccinations.

Thankfully, he was rescued before anything happened to him.

๐ŸŽWeight: 3kg

๐Ÿ“šPersonality: Happy, loving puppy who enjoys human companionship and gets along beautifully with other animals and young children.

๐ŸšฝPotty: Prefers relieving himself outdoors.

He does have a small hernia, but it can be repaired when he is old enough (6 months) for his neuter surgery. He is now 5 months old!

Lixia has overcome more than most dogs ever should.

After being rescued with a re**al prolapse, a skin condition, and a mild knee condition, he has made an incredible recovery. His re**al prolapse and skin condition have fully healed, and now he's simply looking for a family to love him.

๐Ÿ„ Personality: Friendly, affectionate, and loves people (a little nervous around seniors)

๐Ÿšฝ Potty: Outdoor potty trained

๐Ÿฉบ Health: Neutered. He has a mild knee condition that doesn't require surgery at this time. He only needs to take joint supplements daily!
