🦜❤️ What have we been feeding our feathered friends all these years?

Well… it’s not just a scoop of seeds and a prayer! 😂

For more than a decade, we’ve put a lot of thought into what goes into our birds’ bowls. Our goal has always been good nutrition, variety and diets appropriate for the bird in front of us.

🐣 Our younger feathered friends enjoy a high-performance combination of:

🌟 Hagen Tropican
🌟 Roudybush
🌟 Tropimix

This gives them a formulated nutritional foundation while still providing some of the variety, texture and fun that birds naturally enjoy.

🦜 Our older friends get those same quality products, with the diet adjusted toward a maintenance/lifetime formula with less protein as appropriate for their stage of life.

Why does this matter?

Birds need more than just seeds! A seed-heavy diet can be high in fat while being deficient or unbalanced in important nutrients. A good formulated diet can help provide more consistent nutrition, including protein, vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients.

And just like people, one diet doesn't fit every bird. Age, species, activity level, health, breeding status and individual needs can all affect what is appropriate.

We also believe food should be more than something that simply fills a bowl. Birds are natural foragers, so offering appropriate variety and opportunities to work for their food can make mealtime more interesting and enriching. 💚
