Ginger Update 🐾♥️

What a difference a few weeks can make! 💙

When we first started working together, this rescue girl was fearful of strangers, dogs, new environments, and many everyday experiences. Our focus was on creating safety, trust, and confidence at her pace.

Today, she is making incredible progress! 🎉

✨ Choosing to walk toward me and engage in training
✨ Playing with toys
✨ Learning appropriate greetings with people and animals
✨ Building confidence around the car and new experiences

Watching a fearful dog begin to explore, play, and make choices with confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of training. While we still have goals ahead of us, she is proving that with patience, consistency, and support, amazing progress is possible.

We are so proud of you, sweet girl. Keep shining! 🐾❤️

🌟 Training Spotlight: Louis 🌟

When Louis first started training, his family reached out for help with potty training, staying close when going outside, and his tendency to run off as soon as the door opened. He was also quite vocal around other dogs.

After just a couple of sessions, Louis made some fantastic progress! 🎉 He learned to stay calmly near the door instead of taking off, has become much more responsive to his owners, and is showing improved focus and self-control around distractions.

His family has been putting in the work, and it’s paying off. We’re so proud of how far Louis has come in such a short time and can’t wait to see his continued success as he builds on these new skills.

Keep up the great work, Louis! 🐾💙

✨ Roxy Update ✨

A little while ago, Roxy was hiding underneath the kitchen table during our first session❤️

Since then, her owner has been putting in so much work following her training plan and helping build Roxy’s confidence step by step. Together we’ve been focusing on confidence building exercises, creating positive experiences, helping her feel safer in her environment, and learning that the world doesn’t have to be so scary.

Watching fearful dogs start to gain confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of training. The progress may look small to others, but for dogs like Roxy, these are HUGE victories. 🐾

So proud of Roxy and her owner for all the patience, consistency, and love they continue to put into this journey. 💛

Educational Tools topic :
Tools can absolutely have a place in dog training when they are introduced fairly, correctly, and with purpose. However, no tool should become the reason a dog listens, walks calmly, recalls, or behaves appropriately.

If a dog only responds when a certain collar, leash, or piece of equipment is being used, it’s time to rethink about your training. The focus may need to shift back to the training itself. True training is built on communication, clarity, consistency, and understanding. not dependence on equipment.

The goal should always be to teach the dog how to make good choices, not simply manage behavior through tools alone. Equipment should support the learning process, not replace it.

Good training creates:
✔️ Understanding
✔️ Engagement
✔️ Confidence
✔️ Reliability in real-life situations

There is no “magic tool” that instantly fixes behavior. Long-term success comes from building a relationship with the dog, teaching clearly, and helping the dog truly understand what is being asked of them.

At the end of the day, the most important part of training is not what the dog is wearing.
It is what the dog has learned. 🐾

Meet Milo

Milo’s hobbies include:
• Launching himself at people with excitement
• Standing and hoping on 2 paws like a tiny rabbit 🐰
• Being the happiest boy alive 😄

This sweet guy gets SO excited to see people. His nickname is “Bugs Bunny” because of his impressive jumping skills 🐾😂 No need for walking

But lately, Milo has been learning that life isn’t always about being at level 100 energy 24/7.

In training, we’ve been working on:
✔️ Settling on his own
✔️ Calm greetings
✔️ Not using humans as launch pads
✔️ Foundation skills
✔️ Recall
✔️ Impulse control
✔️ Choosing calmness instead

And honestly… he’s been crushing it 💙

Training doesn’t mean changing who Milo is. It just means helping him learn that sometimes the coolest thing you can do… is relax 😌🐾

Friday is tomorrow… keep going, you’re almost there. 😂🐾

This puppy has officially entered weekend waiting mode. Head on the food bowl, and dreaming about snacks already. 😴🍖

Hope everyone survives the last stretch of the week as good as this little guy is trying to. ❤️

When I first met Roxy, she was very fearful and unsure. During our first session, she stayed hidden underneath the kitchen table and didn’t want to come out.

With patience, gentle guidance, and support from her owner, Roxy started making small but important steps forward. By our second session, she was able to come out from underneath the table and even come a little closer to me. ❤️

For fearful dogs, progress is not about rushing. It’s about building trust, confidence, and helping them feel safe at their own pace. Seeing Roxy take those first brave steps was such a big win, and I’m so proud of her.

Sometimes the smallest moments become the biggest victories. 🐾

✨ Training Spotlight ✨

Meet Bandit

This sweet rescue boy and his owner have been putting in so much hard work together, and it truly shows. ❤️
His owner already did an amazing job with his training, but they reached out for help with some bigger challenges such as reactivity, being uncomfortable around men, leash walking, listening to commands, and feeling more confident around people and other animals.
This pup absolutely LOVES to work and learn. He’s smart, sweet, and will do anything for some nice treats! Watching his confidence grow and seeing the bond between him and his owner get stronger has been so rewarding.

Small wins are big wins!!, but with patience, consistency, and teamwork, this boy is making amazing steps forward. So proud of both of them for all the effort they continue to put in every day. 🐾💛
