Not Dog related but many of my friends only follow this page of mine
Lately I have been thinking and missing my Moms (Polly and Dora)
I have noticed i am turning into my Mom. When my daughter comes here I want to give her stuff, to make sure she gets it when im gone.
Anyone who has been to my house has seen a beautiful Abstract painting in my livingroom. Im always happy to tell them about the Artist my friend Milton.
I used to manage the Ponoka Stampede Art and Gift Show. Milton was one of my Artists. Him and I became great friends thru the years and even after he couldnt do the Art Show, we met in Camrose Duggan Mall for Coffee. He was a great friend.
In 2018 there was a Hiest at the Art Gallery in Calgary and many of his Paintings were stolen.
I have had this beautifil painting for about 10 years.
Well looking at it the other day, thinking about Milton.... i have always said, I wanted it to go back to his family. Then I remembered my Mom trying to give me stuff and me keep saying to wait.. she wasnt going anywhere. Sadly I never got many things she wanted me to have :(
Thanksgiving Day, I thought...i gotta make the move and contact Miltons family. Thank god for social media I was able to contact his Son and Daughter.
I let them know that I had a original Abstract Painting their Dad did in 2016.
They were so excited as they had no abstracts from their Dad. I think the heist in Calgary had his abstracts as he only did them for a few years.
Anyways, im happy to say that I deliver the painting to his daughter yesterday.
My heart is full, knowing that Milton would be smiling and saying ... Thank you my friend 🧡
