We met in 2005 and quickly became best friends. We walk daily through out the parks and trails in Dartmouth, and Cole Harbour with our dogs. Most of the conversation would always lead back to one day having our own dog walking business...and our dream has finally come true. Welcome to Oxygen Dogs! We believe that all owners should have the ability to access care and love for their pets at any time because we know that life gets busy - so we are here to help! We believe in treating our clients as we would ourselves, our friends, and our family. Our team of dog walkers upholds a safe, respectful and fun environment for your pet, and we base our values off of dependability, love, and care. Oxygen Dogs was created by Catherine Chapman and Chrissy Moore in 2017, two best friends, passionate about dogs and providing them with the best treatment, belly rubs, and exercise! We love all furry creatures, big and small, and we can't wait for you to join our Oxygen Dog's Family. Oxygen doges is a registered and an insured company with the province of Nova Scotia. We have taken courses on dog socialization, behaviour, pet sitting, animal first aid, light grooming and have practice on our own dogs. We are also enrolled in courses over the next two years to have continuous professional development while working with your wonderful pets! Oxygen as our chosen name is more than a reality. Our dogs are walked daily Monday to Friday in all weather conditions within all safety guidelines. Among the breeds we have handled walked and pet sat are Retreivers, German Shepherds, Labs, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Chows, Jack Russell's , Sh*tzu, Shelties, Maltese and Daschund's. Christine’s dog Chance, is a beautiful German Shepherd and Catherine has a Daschund names Stella. We have different packs for different sizes to help the stress levels of our dogs. Your dogs heath, welfare and safety is out #1 priority!!

We are back!
Russ and I have been very busy this summer. We have been smashing, pounding, building, planting and somewhat harvesting. We will be soon posting pictures of the current state of our yard reno!
We are accepting new clients for both a.m. & p.m. walks in Portland Estates, Nantucket, Cole Harbour area and on Wednesday and Thursdays Lancaster, Albro lake area.

Just a reminder to all that oxygen dogs are hosting a bbq on Sat.May 5 from 11-2 at the Sobeys forest all parkway drive. All proceeds go to the Alzheimers Society to help make memories matter.

Oxygen Dogs has committed to participating in the Walk for Alzheimer’s this year, at 2 PM on Sunday, May 6th, at the Cunard Centre. We have a special Oxygen Dog, Bailey, who will be walking with us.
