Just happened these two girls were at water bowl this morning. Bred to Mastine Rip 43N will lamb in a few weeks. They are both daughters of Mastine Paxton 22H.

Just getting the paperwork all fixed up for these 3 boys. They will be heading to their new homes across the boarder. It has been a great year for us, one we won’t soon forget. Thanks to all our buyers. We will soon have our fall lambs on the ground. Exciting times here for us, as we will have a couple lambs from Mastine Rip.

On the way home from the All Canada Sheep Classic/Classique Canadienne du Mouton a couple of weeks ago, we stopped at our good friends and fellow Suffolk breeders James and Cecile Blackie’s. We were excited to check out this year’s lamb crop as they had informed us earlier that their recent scans were outstanding. Three ram lambs over 41mm including the highest we have ever heard of at 45mm!!! 🤩
Congratulations to them! We are proud of the fact that they were all sired by Mastine Jagger 7N (out of Essie Suffolks Fitzroy). 🎉🎉🎉

As breeding season approaches and breeders start making AI plans, we would like fellow breeders aware that we recollected Mastine Paxton 22H and now have semen available again! Dear Larry
I hope you are well. Very many congratulations for all your amazing success with your Suffolks. Very well done.
I have been planning to get back to you to let you know how we have been getting on using Paxton semen. We have 10 ram lambs and 8 ewe lambs to Paxton and they have blended well with Essie sired lambs. They are looking well and have been reared exactly the same as Essie sired lambs. I do intend to send you photos. I also intend to use one of the ram lambs in my breeding programme this year. Unfortunately, Signet cannot transfer all Paxtons's amazing Performance results into their Recording programme. Instead the results of the lambs depend on their own Performance merit and their mother's Index. However, having said that, some of them are in the top 1% UK Performance Records. We are delighted.
