This celebration is our way of saying thank you to the incredible clients, pets and community members who have supported Dodge City Grooming Salon throughout our journey. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!

One hundred percent of raffle ticket sales will support our Pay It Furward Fund, which helps subsidize essential grooming services for local dogs and cats whose families may be experiencing financial hardship.

Friendly dogs are welcome to attend if they are comfortable around crowds, children and other dogs. All dogs must remain on a standard leash—please leave retractable Flexi/Zippy leashes at home. If your pup becomes anxious or overwhelmed in busy environments, they may be more comfortable relaxing at home this time.

Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or have recently joined the Dodge City family, we would absolutely love to celebrate with you!

🐾 We’re restocking the salon with some of the best pet gear a Cumberland dog or cat could ask for!

From KONG toys and tasty Canadian treats to grooming-day essentials, we’ll have plenty of goodies for your four-legged family members—because everyone deserves a reward from time to time, right? 🐶🐱

We’ll also be introducing our new Fear Free Comfort Corner, designed to help pets feel more comfortable before, during and after their grooming appointments.

We’ll be sharing more about our Comfort Corner at our Open House on August 29, as we celebrate 10 amazing years—although, technically, it’s now 11! 🎉

🇨🇦 Long Weekend Closure 🐾

Just a friendly reminder that Dodge City Grooming Salon will be closed on Monday, August 3rd so our team can enjoy some well-deserved time with family and friends.

We hope you have a safe, relaxing, and fun long weekend with your loved ones (both two-legged and four-legged! ❤️🐶🐱).

Back from Master Groom with full hearts, full suitcases, and minds overflowing with ideas. ✂️🐾

Every year we invest in continuing education because we believe our clients and their pets deserve the very best. We came home with:
✨ New tools
📚 New techniques
🎯 New personal and professional goals
🤝 Stronger teamwork

This year, Leanne, Cara, and Kayleh had the opportunity to attend Mastergroom Canada in Red Deer, Alberta, where we spent the weekend learning from some of the best educators in the grooming industry.

One of my favorite takeaways this weekend was becoming each other’s “Accountability Police.” 😉🚔

Not in the sense of pointing fingers—but in supporting one another. We each set personal and work-related goals, and we’ve given each other permission to gently remind, encourage, and challenge one another to stay on track. Growth is so much easier when the people around you genuinely want to see you succeed.

Small improvements, every single day, lead to big results.

We’re excited to bring everything we’ve learned back to the salon and continue raising the bar—not just for ourselves, but for every pet that walks through our doors.

Here’s to learning, growing, laughing and holding each other accountable… with a smile. 💙✂️🐶

We’re officially on our way to Calgary for Groomfest! ✂️📚 We can’t wait to continue learning, expanding our skills, and bringing home even more knowledge to better serve all of your incredible pets.
