Today we’re celebrating one of our amazing bathers (future DC groomer) here at Dodge City Grooming -Kayleh!

Pictured here with her first/main squeeze, Toad (who clearly thinks he’s the real star of the show 😉).

Kayleh brings so much patience, love, and talent to every dog on her table. The pups adore her, the team loves her, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of the Dodge City family.

We hope your day is filled with puppy cuddles, wagging tails, and maybe a few extra treats for Todd too. 🐶💕

A huge thank you to everyone who recommended us for this beautiful floofy bear 🐻✨ We are so grateful for the trust and love from our community.

Marshmallow was not only an absolute pleasure to groom, but she also gave us some pretty incredible before & afters — talk about a glow-up!

This transformation was done by Hanna, who has been with Dodge City Grooming since April 14, 2025. Her skills have absolutely skyrocketed since joining our team, and her passion for grooming comes so naturally. The care, patience, and confidence she brings to each dog truly shines through in her work.

Before ➡️ After Glam up Sessions ✨

This week we had Hyena and Tulip (mom & daughter duo) as well as Zoe & Huey came in needing a major de-shed, and thanks to our hardworking team (and some serious elbow grease 💪), we were able to remove pounds of impacted undercoat.

This isn’t just about looks — this is about comfort, skin health, and prevention, especially during our wet Vancouver Island weather 🌧️

By properly deshedding and resetting the coat, these pups:
✔ Feel noticeably lighter
✔ Have improved air flow to the skin
✔️ Are less likely to result in hot spots and have that stinky dog smell
✔️ Reduction in shedding by 50-80%
✔ Are set up for success until their next groom 10-12 weeks down the road

We believe in working with the coat, not against it, and educating our clients on proper maintenance between visits is one of our priorities.
