This is what we mean when we say we are family owned business… 3 generations under 1 roof! Dr. Nagel has been a pillar of the Crossfield community for over 30 years. His daughter, Stina, grew up here and has now come back as part of the RVPV team. And her daughter, Maeve, gets to experience clinic life through the same eyes when she comes to work with mom and Papaw.

Be on the lookout for speargrass and foxtail! 🔎

While foxtail is a frequent troublemaker in our area, speargrass is unique in that it only goes to seed periodically when conditions are right. And they happen to be right this year.

Keep an eye out when walking your pet for long, bearded grasses like this ⬇️ The long, barbed seeds can become lodged under your pet’s skin and migrate, causing pain, infection, and even more serious complications. If you suspect your pet may have speargrass or foxtail barbs, call us at 403-946-4567 for a consult

Hazel came in after eating 16 of her probiotic supplement packets… wrapper and all. Luckily her owners were on it and brought her to us quickly to induce vomiting. If you see or even suspect your pet has ingested something they shouldn’t, don’t wait. We will always make time for walk-in urgent cases or visit your nearest emergency clinic outside of our business hours. We are so glad Miss Hazel is doing well!
