🤎 RIDE TOGETHER — A COMMUNITY BENEFIT DAY 🤎🐴

📅 October 4th, 2026
📍 Spur Valley Horses — location can be found at http://spurvalleyhorses.ca

LET’S FILL THE RANCH. LET’S FILL THE TRAIL.

When tragedy hits close to home, this community knows how to do one thing incredibly well — show up for each other.

On October 4th, we’re opening our gates and asking our community to come together in support of Sheena Bauer’s family and the three young children she leaves behind. 🤎

The loss of a mother is something no family should have to navigate alone. While nothing can take away the heartbreak they are facing, we can come together to help ease some of the financial weight and show this family just how many people are standing behind them.

This isn’t about Spur Valley Horses. This is about showing up for one of our own.

🐴 COMMUNITY BENEFIT RIDE

Have a horse? Saddle up with us!

Bring your own horse and join us for a community ride out to our scenic point and back. This isn’t a race — it’s a ride with a purpose.

Our goal? Fill that trail with as many horses and riders as we safely can. 🤎

🤎 TINY TOTS FOR A CAUSE

Our volunteers will be running Tiny Tot rides in the arena throughout the day! Bring those little cowboys & cowgirls out for a ride while supporting three little ones in our own community.

👢 KIDS BOOT RACE — 3:00 PM!

Round up the kiddos because we’re throwing a Kids Boot Race into the afternoon fun! Come cheer them on and make some memories while we raise money for an incredible cause. 🤎

🔥 COMMUNITY BBQ

When the riders return, we’re firing up the BBQ! Come grab some food, visit with friends and neighbours, and spend the afternoon together at the ranch.

🎶 MUSIC • SILENT AUCTION • DONATIONS

Donate an auction item. Donate food or supplies. Sponsor part of the day. Volunteer. Register to ride. Bring your kids. Grab a burger. Bid on something. Make a donation.

Or simply SHOW UP. 🤎

We want this ranch FULL. Kids in the arena. Burgers on the grill. Families gathered together. And horse after horse heading down that trail for the same reason.

To show this family they are not walking through this alone.

Save October 4th. Register your horse. Bring your family. Invite your friends. Share this post. Tag local businesses. Donate if you can.

Most importantly — COME OUT & BE PART OF IT. 🤎

LET’S FILL THE RANCH.
LET’S FILL THE TRAIL.

Still trying to put into words how special this night was 🤎

Our year end banquet was everything we hoped it would be. A night to celebrate the people who showed up for Spur Valley Horses this year, worked their butts off, believed in what we’re building and became such a huge part of it.

We laughed, cried, handed out some very well deserved buckles and got to honour some incredibly special people who are no longer here with us. 🤍

I looked around that room more than once and just thought… dang, we really did this. 🥹

To our family, staff, volunteers, students, customers, sponsors and friends THANK YOU. Seriously. SVH would not be what it is without you.

What a season. What a crew. What a night. 🤎
