🩺🚨 We are hiring a Registered Veterinary Technologist! 🐱🐶

Only YOU can prevent staffing shortages! Comox Valley Animal Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technologist for immediate full or part time employment. Our practice philosophy is based on a “spectrum of care” approach to veterinary medicine. We work as a cohesive team to deliver the best care possible to every patient. Come join our amazing team in the beautiful Comox Valley.

Comox Valley Animal Hospital:
Founded in 1967.
Small Animal (99% dogs and cats).
Open 7 days a week.
5 doctors.
Widely varied cases - from routine vaccinations and spay/neuter to complex medical work ups and surgery (including TPLO).

Responsibilities:
Collecting and analyzing laboratory samples.
Monitoring anesthesia.
Dental cleaning.
Administering medications.
Filling prescriptions.
Client education.
No on-call.
Some weekend shifts.

Qualifications:
Registered Veterinary Technologist (or eligible for registration).
A positive attitude.
Work experience as a veterinary technologist, or a willingness to learn.

Compensation:
$30-35/hour depending on experience.
Continuing education.
BCVTA dues.
Group health benefits.
Staff discount.
Coffee and snacks.
