Pet Memorial Day – A Moment to Remember, A Place to Honor

June 9th, we pause to remember the unconditional love, loyalty, and joy our beloved pets brought into our lives. Though they may no longer be by our side, their paw prints stay forever on our hearts.

To help honor their memory, we invite you to take part in a special tribute:

Paint a Memory Rock for Your Pet

Create a small, meaningful rock painted with your pet’s name, a symbol, or anything that reminds you of them. Then, place it beneath our Collar Memorial Tree; a growing tribute filled with love, remembrance, and the stories of cherished companions.

Each rock becomes a lasting symbol of the bond you shared and a beautiful way to celebrate their life.

Losing a beloved pet is one of the hardest things we go through. They’re more than animals; they’re family, best friends, and a part of our everyday lives.
We are truly honoured to support families during such a deeply emotional time.
Every message, kind word, and shared story reminds us why this work matters. Our goal has always been to provide compassionate, respectful care and offer comfort and peace when they are needed most.
To those who have taken the time to share their experience, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your trust means everything to us.

Some people see a tree. I see a thousand memories. Every collar hanging here belonged to a pet who was deeply loved and is dearly missed. Their time with us was never long enough, but the love they gave will stay with us forever. Though they’re no longer by our side, they remain forever in our hearts. 🐾

If you’ve lost a beloved pet and would like to honour their memory, you’re welcome to visit the memorial garden and place a collar on the tree. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, we hope this space can bring a moment of remembrance, comfort and connection.

What an exciting first day at the Pet Expo! We met lots of friends, old and new, and we got to see lots and lots of stunning pet photos that we engraved on well over 100 keychains and we can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow! At 11:15 am tomorrow we will be performing our 4th annual bubble release to honour the pets we have loved and lost. Please join us as we celebrate with our honoured guest and friend, Leslie Ann. We look forward to chatting with you!

This Sunday, May 31 at 11:25 AM, we invite you to join our Platinum Sponsor, Angel Paws Pet Crematorium, for a beautiful and heartfelt “Bubble Release” Ceremony in honor of the pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈
For so many of us, pets are never just pets.

They are our best friends, our comfort on hard days, our shadows in the kitchen, our walking buddies, our couch snugglers, and pieces of our hearts we carry forever. Even after they’re gone, the love never leaves.

During this special ceremony inside the main event ring, we’ll release bubbles together as a symbol of love, remembrance, and the paw prints our cherished companions left on our lives. Whether your loss was recent or years ago, this is a chance to pause, remember, and celebrate the unconditional love only a pet can give.

💙 Complimentary bubbles will be available at the Angel Paws booth before the ceremony.

Holiday Closure Notice

Angel Paws will be closed on Monday, May 18, 2026 in observance of Victoria Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 9:00am for regular business hours.

If you require immediate assistance, please contact your regular Veterinary Clinic and you will be directed to the After Hours Emergency Clinic on call.

You may also reach us through Facebook Messenger; however, please note that response times may be longer than usual. Rest assured, we will respond as soon as we can.
