♻️ CBS Animal Hospital Bottle Drive! 🐾💚

Starting TODAY and running until November 15th, we’re hosting a bottle drive to help raise funds for a very special cause! 🥰

One of our dedicated RVTs, Emma, will be taking part in a spay/neuter clinic abroad, helping provide much-needed veterinary care to animals in need. 🌎🐶🐱

We’re still working out the details of the trip, including the exact location, but we’ll be sharing more with you once everything is finalized!

How can you help? ♻️
🍾 Drop off your refundable recyclables directly at CBS Animal Hospital, 4 Coffee Creek Place
🍾 Or bring your recyclables to the CBS Green Depot (2684 Topsail Road) as you normally would, and provide our clinic phone number (709 240-2288) so the funds can be added to our bottle drive account!

Every bottle counts, and every donation will help Emma make a difference for animals in need. 💚🐾

There’s nothing quite like a puppy’s first visit to the vet! 🩺💗 From tiny paws and curious noses to those adorable puppy cuddles, we love being part of their journey from the very beginning. A puppy’s first visit is an important step in starting them off on the right paw! 🐶

Today, we’re celebrating all the wonderful dogs who bring so much love and joy into our lives — especially the newest little members of the family! 🐕❤️

🚣 Regatta Day Closure Reminder 🚣

Please note that CBS Animal Hospital will be closed on Wednesday, August 5th in recognition of Regatta Day.

If your pet experiences an emergency while we are closed, please call our regular clinic phone number to be connected with our live veterinary triage service, where a trained professional can guide you on the next steps.

🐾 Happy Veterinary Assistant Week! 🐾

This week, we're celebrating the amazing Veterinary Assistants who are an essential part of our team. Their compassion, dedication, and hard work help make every visit a little easier for both our patients and their families. 💙

🩺 Tara has had a passion for animals since day one. A graduate of Academy Canada in 2008, she's been working in veterinary medicine ever since and has been part of the CBS Animal Hospital family since we first opened our doors in 2013. Tara enjoys every aspect of veterinary medicine, but you'll most often find her caring for patients in surgery, where her experience and calm presence shine.

🩺 Corinne is a seasoned Veterinary Assistant originally from Central Newfoundland. After spending 11 years working in Ontario, she returned home in 2020 and joined our team in early 2024. With a special interest in surgery and anesthesia, Corinne is dedicated to ensuring every patient receives exceptional care and comfort throughout their procedures.

🩺 Ally, one of our own from Conception Bay South, is a valued member of our team who is balancing life as a Veterinary Assistant while studying to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. We're so proud to support her as she works toward her goal!

🩺 Kaylee, also from Conception Bay South, is the newest addition to our Veterinary Assistant team. She has already become a wonderful part of our clinic family, and we're excited to watch her continue to learn, grow, and build her skills in veterinary medicine.

Welcome to the CBS Animal Hospital family, Pongo! 🐶💙

This handsome pup came in for his very first puppy visit with Dr. Ashe , and we already know he's going to steal a few hearts around here. Between all the treats, tail wags, and cuddles, Pongo was the perfect patient!

When he's not being the best boy at the vet, you'll find him keeping up with his two favorite little humans—his sisters. We have a feeling they're going to make lots of wonderful memories together.

We can't wait to watch you grow, Pongo! 🐾
