Maeve is the kind of young horse that makes you excited about the future. This beautiful red bay yearling filly combines an athletic, elegant build with an exceptionally brave and people-oriented temperament.

She is incredibly friendly, curious and confident, and has already been exposed to far more than your average yearling. Maeve leads, ties, loads into the trailer and is up to date on vaccinations and farrier care. She regularly goes for walks around the property, confidently tackling new obstacles along the way — including happily walking into the pond. She approaches new experiences with curiosity rather than hesitation and genuinely enjoys being involved with her people.

Maeve is a lovely sport-horse type with good length of leg, a nicely sloped shoulder, strong hindquarter and an attractive, naturally upright carriage. She is well balanced for her age and shows an easy, ground-covering way of going. She has a beautiful feminine head and plenty of presence without being overly heavy.

Expected to mature around 15.2hh.

Maeve has the versatility and temperament to go in virtually any direction, but I think she could be particularly exciting as an eventing or hunter prospect. Her bravery and willingness would be a huge asset out on course, while her natural carriage, athletic build and attractive way of going could make her equally at home in the hunter ring.

Smokey Black Canadian Filly

A beautiful smokey black Canadian filly with a more traditional, baroque style, plenty of substance and an incredibly friendly personality.

She is developing into a powerful, eye-catching young filly with good bone, a substantial body and a strong hindquarter. She has a lovely Canadian-type head and neck and already shows that characteristic presence of the breed.

Her movement is one of my favourite things about her. She is naturally forward and expressive, with good reach through the front and plenty of push from behind. She has an impressive, ground-covering stride and isn’t afraid to show off when she gets moving!

Temperament-wise, she is an absolute sweetheart—very friendly, curious and people-oriented.

She is smokey black and carries one copy of the cream gene. If eventually used as a broodmare, she will have a 50% chance of passing cream to each offspring, making her an interesting future breeding prospect as well as a lovely performance prospect.

Expected to mature approximately 15.2–15.3 hh.

A striking smokey black Canadian c**t with a beautifully refined, athletic build and plenty of presence. Expected to mature 15’2-3”

This c**t has caught our eye from the beginning. He shows a lovely balance of refinement and substance, with an attractive expressive head, a nicely shaped neck, good length of leg and a strong, well-proportioned body. He has good bone without appearing heavy or coarse and carries himself with a naturally proud, athletic presence.

On the move, he is light on his feet with an effortless, forward way of going. As he continues to mature, we think he has the makings of a very versatile Canadian—whether his future is under saddle or as a breeding prospect.

His smokey black colouring is an added bonus. He carries one copy of the cream gene, so if retained as a breeding stallion, he has a 50% chance of passing the cream gene to each offspring.
