🎃👻 SPOOKTACULAR SHOW MATINEE 👻🎃

Things are about to get a little UNHINGED at Pine Haven… 😂🐴

Forget your serious show face - we want costumes, chaos & questionable gymkhana skills. 🎃

🕒 SUNDAY OCTOBER 18th
3PM - 7PM

👻 Costume Leadline Parade
🎃 Poles at the Trot
🕷️ Trotting Crossrails
💀 Cantering Crossrails
🧙 2' Division
😈 SURPRISE GYMKHANA GAME - because apparently regular horse showing wasn't stressful enough 😂

⚠️ Costumes are MANDATORY!
Yes, even you. 😂 Costumes must be approved by our coaching team the week before so we can make sure your brilliant idea isn't going to convince your horse they've seen their final day. 👀🐴

🚛 Off-property horses welcome, as always!

Start planning your costumes… the more ridiculous, the better. 🎃👻🐴
As always, book online. Get your entries in NOW so we can start planning

🐴 Meet Coach Maddie! 💛
Available Friday evenings for Introductory - Novice level riders

We’re so excited to officially welcome Maddie into a coaching role at Pine Haven!

Maddie joined our team in 2025 as a stablehand and has worked her way up to coaching through lots of hands-on experience, lesson shadowing, and time spent learning alongside our coaching team.

She started riding at just 6 years old, spending two years barrel racing before switching to English and finding her passion for the jumper ring. Maddie was also a member of the Trent Equestrian Team during the 2024 & 2025 school year, competing in the hunter ring.

In December 2025, she purchased her own horse, Gatsby, and has worked hard alongside our coaching staff to develop him into the lovely horse he is today. 🐴

Outside of the barn, Maddie is studying to become an elementary school teacher, loves working with younger kids, and is First Aid certified.

We’re so happy to see Maddie grow from stablehand to coach and can’t wait for our riders to get to know her! 💕

🐴 NEW SATURDAY PROGRAM - WOULD YOUR YOUNG EQUESTRIAN BE INTERESTED? WE NEED YOUR INPUT!

After such a successful summer camp season, we're considering launching something new this fall!

Pine Haven Equestrian Academy
Ages 8–16 | Saturdays 9AM–4PM | 4-Week Sessions

Think swimming lessons - but for equestrians! 🏊‍♀️➡️🐴

Participants would work through Equestrian Canada's LearnToRide & LearnToCare framework, combining riding lessons with hands-on horsemanship, horse care, stable management and safety.

Riders progress at their own pace, working toward official evaluations with Jacqueline when they're ready - with the opportunity to continue through the levels and potentially follow a pathway toward obtaining their Equestrian Canada coaching certification.

Right now, we're just gauging interest!

👇 If you would seriously consider registering your child, COMMENT “INTERESTED” & their age below! This program would be open to everyone - you do not need to be a current Pine Haven student to participate!

If there's enough interest, we'll release dates, pricing and registration for our first session. 💜
