As the weather warms up this summer, we wanted to send a reminder for some heat risks for your beloved animals☀️

Please note that this is not a complete list for pet safety in the summer. If you are ever worried about your pet in the heat, please contact us at 403-932-2370 immediately or contact the nearest emergency vet.

Some important pet safety tips include:
⭕️Never leave your animals alone in a parked vehicle
⭕️Be cautious with overheating (signs/symptoms included in second image of post)
⭕️Keep fresh, clean water available
⭕️Be careful with your pet on hot asphalt
⭕️Always supervise your pets around areas with water
⭕️Bracycephalic breeds are at an increased risk for heat stroke
