💚🐾 HELP US BUILD ON SECOND CHANCES! 🐾💚

Every day, animals arrive at Northumberland Humane Society needing safety, care, and a second chance. We dream of a future where we can help even more pets and the people who love them.

Our BUILT ON SECOND CHANCES campaign will expand our facility, create better spaces for animals, and allow us to save more lives and make more happy tails! 🐶🐱

Our goal is $4 MILLION — and we need our community to help us get there!

💚 Every little bit counts. Whether you can give $10, $25, or $100, your donation brings us one step closer. Small gifts add up to make an extraordinary difference.

You may never meet the kitten your donation helps save or see the dog who finds a loving home because we had space to care for them — but you will be part of their story. ❤️

🐾 Please donate today and help us build a brighter future for animals in Northumberland County.

🐾❤️ BUILDING SECOND CHANCES — BECAUSE EVERY ANIMAL DESERVES A BETTER TOMORROW ❤️🐾
Thirty years ago, our facility was built for one purpose: to temporarily hold stray animals until their owners could come and bring them home.
But over the years, everything changed. 💔
Today, Northumberland Humane Society is so much more than a place for stray animals. We are a safe haven for the abandoned, a lifeline for the neglected, a place of healing for the broken, and a second chance for animals who have nowhere else to turn.
We rescue. We rehabilitate. We nurture. We love. And we help animals find the families they have been waiting for. 🐶🐱❤️
But our building hasn't changed with us.
The facility that served a much simpler purpose 30 years ago is now expected to support the complex needs of an animal shelter — caring for vulnerable animals, helping them heal, and preparing them for a brighter future. Our animals deserve more. Our community deserves more. And the future of animal welfare in Northumberland deserves more.
✨ It's time to dream bigger. It's time to build second chances.
Our Building Second Chances Campaign is about creating a brighter future for every animal who will one day walk through our doors. It's about giving them the care, comfort, and opportunity they deserve — and ensuring that Northumberland Humane Society can continue to be there for animals in need for generations to come.
But we cannot do this alone. We need YOU. Every donation brings us one step closer to a future where more lives can be saved, more animals can heal, and more forever-home stories can begin.
Please visit www.northumberlandhs.com to learn more about our exciting Building Second Chances Campaign and discover how you can be part of this life-changing mission.
🐾 They can't build their own future. But together, we can build it for them.
Because every animal deserves more than a place to stay. They deserve a chance to heal, a reason to trust, and a loving home to call their own. ❤️🏡

If you are able to assist, please visit our website to apply to become a foster family. We require a separate area in your home to house foster animals, away from other pets, as well as a vehicle and residency within 45 minutes of our shelter. All necessary supplies, support, and training will be provided. We offer both short-term and long-term foster care opportunities, ranging from a few weeks to several months. By fostering kittens, you can make a life-or-death difference.

✨ Making Dreams Come True, One Second Chance at a Time! 🐾❤️
Every animal who comes through our doors has a story. Some arrive frightened, some are healing, and others have never known the comfort of a loving home. But they all share one thing in common — the hope of a brighter future. 🏡💕
At Northumberland Humane Society, there is nothing more rewarding than watching that hope become reality as our animals find their forever families. Every adoption is a dream come true, a life changed, and a second chance at happiness.
But to keep making these dreams possible, we need your help! 🐾
Our Building Second Chances Campaign is about more than bricks and mortar. It’s about creating a future where we can continue to provide shelter, compassionate care, healing, and hope for the animals who need us most.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps us build a stronger future for the animals who depend on us. Together, we can ensure that more paws find their way home, more broken hearts can heal, and more second chances become beautiful forever stories. ❤️
🐾 Help us make more dreams come true. Donate to our Building Second Chances Campaign today!
Because every animal deserves a chance to know what it feels like to be home. 🏡❤️

🎉 BIG NEWS! WE’RE BUILDING ON SECOND CHANCES! 🐾💚

Something wonderful is happening at Northumberland Humane Society, and we’re so excited to share it with you!

Our BUILT ON SECOND CHANCES campaign is about creating a brighter future for animals and the people who love them throughout Northumberland County. We’re expanding our facility and transforming our existing space to help us do even more for our community.

🏡 More space. More lives saved. More second chances.

Our expansion will allow us to:
🐶 Welcome more dogs with improved indoor and outdoor spaces.
🐱 Care for more cats and kittens in a safer, more comfortable environment.
❤️ Help more people keep their beloved pets through support programs and community services.
🐾 Give vulnerable animals the time, care and compassion they need to find their way home.

But this campaign is about more than bricks and mortar. It’s about the families who need support, the pets who deserve a second chance, and the countless happy tails waiting to happen.

Every donation, every act of kindness, and every person who shares our vision brings us one step closer to making this dream a reality.

We’re building more than a facility. We’re building hope, compassion, and a brighter future for animals across Northumberland County.

💚 Will you help us build on second chances?

Vogue finds her happy tail! This little mama kitten was left to wing it on her own, giving birth and raising her mini-mes solo - talk about a purr-fectly crazy start to life! Luckily, a hero human scooped her up and brought her to the Northumberland Humane Society, where she got the TLC she needed to thrive. Now, she's ready to trade in her single mom life for a cozy lap and a fur-ever family to call her own. Thanks for choosing Vogue - she's ready to bring the laughs and snuggles! 🐱😂
