💛 Meet Jade! 🐾

This sweet girl has been in her new home for just over a month and is slowly learning to decompress and settle into her new surroundings. 🏡

She absolutely adores the kids and her feline housemates! 🐱❤️

During our consultation, we focused on activities to help Jade continue feeling safe and comfortable while building a positive bond with the husband in the household.

Building trust takes time, and we’re letting Jade set the pace while creating positive experiences along the way. 🐾✨

🐾 Look how much Brisket has grown since I first started working with her as a puppy at the beginning of the summer! 💕

She’s heading into adolescence now, and with kids and other dogs becoming extra exciting, we’re focusing on strengthening her recall and helping her make great choices around distractions.

Her family has been doing a fantastic job keeping up with her training. Keep up the great work, Brisket!

Meet Jax! 🐾

This handsome Border Collie has plenty of brains, energy, and personality! 🖤🤍

Border Collies are incredibly intelligent working dogs who thrive when they have opportunities to use both their minds and their bodies. Keeping those busy brains engaged is an important part of helping them feel fulfilled!

Throughout Jax’s training program, we’ll be working together to help him succeed with:

🐾 Window barking: Helping him learn how to better manage the sights and sounds passing by throughout the day.

🐾 Leash skills: Building better walking habits and helping him develop more focus on walks.

🐾 Brain games & enrichment: Introducing fun, engaging activities that challenge his mind and put that Border Collie intelligence to good use!

🐾 Foundational skills: Strengthening the basics to help set him up for success in everyday life.

🐾 Meet Berkley! 🐶💙

This adorable 16-week-old pup has a BIG personality and plenty of puppy energy! 😍

We’re working together through an in-home puppy training program to cover all things puppy and help set Berkley and his family up for success.

Our focus includes:
🐾 Building consistent, structured daily routines
😴 Incorporating regular nap times to help prevent overtiredness
🎯 Practising puppy impulse control exercises
🧠 Learning how to settle, focus, and make good choices
❤️ Building the foundation for a confident, well-adjusted dog

Puppies are full of curiosity, energy, and enthusiasm, but they also need guidance, structure, and plenty of rest! Training isn’t just about teaching cues — it’s about helping puppies learn the life skills they need to thrive. 🐾

🐾 Meet Armin! 🐾

This handsome guy is living his best life with his amazing Husky sister! ❤️

I recently met Armin and his owner for a consultation to help him adjust to some changes in the household and build his confidence when visitors come over.

His owner already has an amazing understanding of dog body language, so we built on that foundation with some additional management strategies and a few fun training games to help Armin feel more comfortable and confident at home. 🐶✨

And can we talk about his muzzle?! 😍

His owner has been incredibly proactive about muzzle training both of her dogs, which is such a valuable life skill. Armin is currently wearing his because he has a sore paw and we’re making sure he doesn’t lick it while it heals.

And this gorgeous muzzle was handcrafted and customized by his very own owner! 🙌

She owns Mia's Muzzles and if you’re looking for a well-made, customized muzzle, I can’t recommend her enough. These are hands-down some of my favourite muzzles! 💙

Big cheers to Armin and his family for being so proactive, thoughtful, and committed to helping their dogs feel safe and successful. 🐾

🐾 Meet Sofie! 🐾

We had a consultation with this sweet girl to work on building a strong, reliable recall — something that can be a bit challenging when you have a lot of hound in you! 👃🐶

Scent hounds are often naturally driven to follow their noses, so our goal is to make coming back to their person incredibly rewarding and worthwhile. We also worked on building positive associations with collar grabs, helping Sofie learn that having her collar handled is a good thing and nothing to worry about.

I’m looking forward to helping this sweet girl build her skills and confidence! 💕🐾

What a great day! 🎃🐾 We lucked out with amazing weather and had such a great turnout for the Paws, Ponies & Pumpkins fundraising event in support of Small Town Cat Project 🐱❤️

A huge thank you to The Local Pet Pantry and Ashley Crews for having me and for putting together such a fun event. And, of course, thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and supported this amazing cause!
