A letter to our customers
We want to thank you for your business these past 13 years. We could not have survived without you. Your purchases put food on our table, gas in our tanks, supported veterinary care for our dogs, clothes on our backs, gifts for our children and grandchildren, but mostly gratitude in our hearts.
We moved to the farm here in B.C. in September of 2013 with my parents. In December of 2022 my mom passed away and this past winter, my dad also passed away. That left us alone here shorthanded, but mostly heartbroken and lonely for family, who all live back in Saskatchewan.
We made the difficult decision to list the farm for sale. Once the sign at the end of the driveway went up and word spread there was an overwhelming run on our products and we have been sold out of frozen berries for a couple weeks now. The balance of our supplies is running low. We had a decision to make. We have decided to close the gates until the new crop comes in late June or early July. We do not yet know, for sure, if it will be us leading the charge when the new crop comes, or a new owner.
Yes, we will pass on all of our knowledge to whoever takes over. That includes our recipes and current supply accounts, along with our email client list for notification on the new crop availability. We hope the new owner carries on as we have, but you never know.
Thank you for your support over the years and some great conversation! You really did keep us energized but we feel too tired to carry on this work, especially without our lost family members and broken hearts. We need to join the rest of our family. Our next chapter, hopefully, includes life on a lakeshore, fishing, golfing, skiing, reading, hiking, exploring, learning, volunteering and spending time with our families.
