2026 GOV Filly

We could not be happier with our first Ebony baby. At only just over a day old she is already perfect. She floats across the ground like her dad and has such an incredible personality.

Both of this fillies parents were shown by Saree Gordon Solanki đź–¤ We are so thankful to have Ebony and Dienna in our breeding program and will be doing this cross again for sure.

Join us in wishing a happy retirement to our newest addition, Like Pina T ( Lady Bird)

Birdie is a 2016 mare by Like Angel ( Los Angeles) and out of a 1.45m dam by Potential.

This mare has done it all, 1.50m jumpers, Performance Hunters, Talent Search and the International Hunter Derbies. Not only does this mare have incredible talent over fences, she moves a ten and is drop dead gorgeous.

We feel so privileged to be able to add this mare to our broodmare band.

There are so many people who had a hand in getting this girl to us in the great white north.

Thank you to Paige, Yellow Grass farms LLC & Caitlin for entrusting us with this once in a lifetime mare and caring for her in California while she waited for her ride. Also a big thank you to Nicole and the Finally Home Farm team for looking after her in Lexington.

As always, thank you to Bob Hubbard Horse Transportation, Inc. for being our go-to hauler to bring our horses safely from California to Kentucky and Gail from Ecclestone Horse Transport Inc. for bringing her on the last part of her journey into Canada.

I have had several people ask me about foaling kits and what we keep in ours. So as we head into foaling season, I figured I would put this information all in one place. The check list will also be linked on our website on the resource page.

3. Hair ties AND elastics – Some of our mares have really thick tails and elastics are too small.
4. Scalpel AND scissors
5. Bailing twine to tie up the placenta – I don’t want to have to search for one when the mare foals. When we know she is close, we will hang the twine on her stall.
6. Palpation sleeves
7. Nitrile gloves
8. Thermometer
9. Stethoscope
