✨ Oliver HHS is Premium! ✨

On Tuesday, we took Oliver and his mom Sienna to his Westfalen NA inspection, where he was awarded Premium and named Site Champion! 🏆 Thank you to Willow Creek Sport Horses for hosting the inspection, and being so welcoming and well organized.

He handled the trip like a pro - travelled beautifully, stood quietly for braiding, and was so well behaved in a new environment.

We couldn’t be prouder of this handsome c**t and can’t wait to watch him grow and develop! ❤️

After a big day, he came home and promptly took a well-earned nap. 😴

We had a fantastic day attending our first ICE competition at Red Ridge Farm this past Sunday! ☀️🐴

Amanda Leadbetter was back in the saddle with Poppy, piloting her around her very first cross-country course at Red Ridge! They started the day with a lovely dressage test, earning not one but TWO 9.0 scores! 🤩 They had a good stadium round with just one rail down and one refusal at a very bright jump that Poppy had never seen before. Overall, a very successful day for these two, finishing with a well-earned 🥈 second-place ribbon!

It was also a very special day for our homebred mare Stella, attending her very first competition! We cannot thank Alissa Cue enough for the wonderful riding and for giving Stella such a positive first experience. ❤️

Stella put in a fabulous first dressage test in a busy environment, even earning a 9.0 for her “lovely trot” on her very first test! 🥹✨ She still needs some work on her canter transitions, but that’s all part of the learning process!

Stadium jumping was a little stressful for her, but she still jumped every fence with only one refusal and improved as the course went on.

One of the highlights of the day was watching her confidently walk all the way from the arena to cross-country by herself like a seasoned event horse! Once she got out on XC, she was VERY excited to be there and happily jumped all the fences. 🥰

We are so incredibly proud of how Stella handled everything throughout the day. First competitions can be overwhelming, and she took it all in stride. We couldn’t be happier with her debut and truly believe she has such a bright future ahead! ✨

This past week, some of our Hidden Hemlock Stables crew had the pleasure of spending time at the Bear River Exhibition Light Horse Show! 🐴🏆

We brought along some of our wonderful students to lend a hand wherever we were needed (and even enjoyed watching some horse pulls in between). You may have spotted us at the gate, setting up the arena, handing out ribbons, helping in the office, and much more!

It was wonderful to be part of such a great community event and to see everyone come together to make the show happen. A huge thank you to the organizers and volunteers for having us—we had a fantastic time!

We’re already excited to be back again next year, and hopefully bringing a little more English riding to the exhibition!

Our beautiful 3-year-old homebred filly, by Fabulore THF out of Fallon, has been keeping busy this summer! 💕✨

From training rides to discovering the trails and even venturing down to the beach, she’s taking everything in stride and learning so much along the way. 🌊🌿🐴

She truly is such a wonderful baby — smart, willing, curious, and just an absolute pleasure to work with. We couldn’t be more excited to watch her grow and see what the future holds for this special girl. 💙

Meet the newest additions to the Hidden Hemlock Stables family! 🐴❤️

Please welcome Honey, a sweet 13-year-old Draft Cross mare! We’re excited to spend some time getting to know her and putting some training on her. We’re hoping Honey will be ready to join our lesson program next year. 🤞Honey didn’t come alone! She is accompanied by her longtime friend, Jade, a 26-year-old Standardbred mare who has come to Hidden Hemlock to enjoy her retirement years. 🥰

We’re so happy to give these two girls a new home together. Welcome, Honey & Jade! 🌿🐴❤️

This past Friday was our last day camp of the summer ☀️

We had such an amazing summer filled with horses, riding, crafts, smiles, and so many great memories! A huge thank you to every family who joined us and made our day camps so special. We loved spending the summer with all of you who participated in day camps! 🥰

We can’t wait to do it all again next summer! 🌻🐎✨
