Thanks to the support of Launch Box subscribers, Churchill Community Garden volunteers, CNSC guests, and The Northern Store, we’ve diverted more than 6,200 lbs of organic waste from Churchill’s landfill! This effort helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions, return nutrients to the soil, and decrease food waste that attracts local wildlife.

As Churchill’s first community-wide composting system, we’re committed to doing our part to respect wildlife, care for the land, and support a more sustainable community. A huge thank you to everyone who has participated so far!

Stay tuned for more posts about community involvement in the compost program 🪴
