Signal boost for a missing cat named Mocha!

From Mocha's family:

Hello,

I’m hoping you’ll keep an eye out for my missing cat, Mocha. I’ve attached her flyer and photos.

Mocha is a long-haired Siamese/Ragdoll from Fairfield Island, Chilliwack. She’s incredibly friendly and confident—she’ll happily walk up to strangers, roll over for belly rubs, and act like she’s lived there forever. Please don’t mistake her friendliness for being a stray.

Mocha is microchipped. The microchip is still registered through the veterinarian in Vancouver where she originally lived with my niece. She has been my much-loved cat for the past four years, and my niece and her veterinarian are both aware that Mocha is missing and are expecting a call if her microchip is scanned.

If a fluffy cat with a big personality comes through your doors, I’d be so grateful if you’d compare her to the attached photos.

There is a reward offered for her safe return.

Thank you so much for everything you do for animals and for keeping Mocha in mind.

Rachel

We did it!

Today marks an enormous achievement! We have hit 10,000 spays and neuters!!!!! That's right..... TEN THOUSAND SPAYS AND NEUTERS.

Our incredible team of trusted veterinary partners, volunteers, drivers, donors and helpers are all heroes! An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure - and prevent unwanted kittens that overcrowd our shelters, dangerous births by mothers who are still kittens themselves, fatal pyometra, cat fights, roaming, and ensuing injuries and death, spraying and we extend cats' lives!

A huge thank you to our donors, especially the Chilliwack Dogwood Monarch Lions Club, B. (who wishes to remain anonymous), and the Mary Wakefield Grant for your amazing generosity.

Long live the memory of Ena Vermerris - it is an honour to keep your legacy alive and well! Onwards we go!

Do you have any male cats that need to be neutered, but have been struggling to afford this important surgery?

Ena's has a limited amount of $99 spots for neuters thanks to remaining funds from a Mary Wakefield Grant! That's right. $99 ALL IN to neuter your male cats(s). This program includes your cat's neuter, a tattoo, pain meds (including take home pain meds), a dose of revolution, and one dose of core vaccinations.

Spring has officially sprung, and it's time to do YOUR part to reduce the unwanted kitten population! You'll also be reducing the risk of your unneutered male spraying your house, trying to escape to find females and potentially getting hit by a car, and extending his life in general!

If you'd like to access this special do NOT use our normal application form - you must follow this link:

EDIT

TARGET REACHED

Thank you to everyone who saw the worth in saving this little kitty's life! He had a successful surgery yesterday and is now recovering. Your generosity, kindness, compassion and thoughtfulness have given him the gift of many years with his devoted owner.

We have a community member in need of help to save his cat's life. Buddy requires a surgery to help prevent continual, fatal urinary tract infections.

Buddy has been in so much pain that he almost had to be euthanized today. His owner has limited funds, and is not able to afford the life saving surgery that his cat so desperately needs.

ANY amount helps. Let's band together, and work to save this l'il guy's life - he's only 4 years old, and has so many more great years to live in a home with someone who truly loves him.

Ena's Community Cats first met Buddy the cat in January 2025, when we helpe… Amber Price needs your support for Help Buddy the cat with a life saving surgery!

In addition to facilitating the low cost spay/neuter of over 9,800 cats to date, Ena's Community Cats is an avenue of community connection for saving and helping cats.

With our administrative offices open from 9:30-5:30, Monday through Friday, we receive dozens of calls, emails and texts each week from people desperate to find help. Whether it's for their own cats, strays in their neighbourhoods, or for a friend or family member, they are looking for resources and assistance.

We are so grateful for the wonderful partnerships that we have with local rescue agencies who are so very dedicated to the welfare of cats. Being able to refer, collaborate and connect means that we can provide the help that is needed, and provide it FAST!

Case in point? Awhile ago, a wonderful community member woke up to discover a stray mama that had given birth to kittens on the gravel in her yard. Here they are while they were waiting for help, and to be picked up by Forever Homes. Three cheers to Anja for her quick thinking and caring heart! Within a few short hours, Forever Homes Cat Rescue had picked up the kittens and Mama.

Cat rescues, and caring community members working together for success is what it's all about!

Believe in the work we are doing? Every donation helps, and as a 100% volunteer run organization EVERY penny goes towards facilitating low cost spays and neuters. As a Registered Charity, we are able to provide tax receipts for all donations over $20.
