😎❤️😎

From October 26 to November 1, 2026, Mexico City’s Historic Center will host the inaugural Festival del Perro Xoloitzcuintle, titled “Campo de Xolos: Bienvenidos a Itzcuintlán.” The event will celebrate one of Mexico’s oldest and most iconic dog breeds through art, science, history and music.

The Xoloitzcuintli held an important place in Mexica traditions and was associated with guiding souls toward Mictlán, the realm of the dead. That connection makes the festival especially fitting during Día de Mu***os. 🌼💀

Mexico is giving its ancient dog the celebration it deserves. 🇲🇽🐾
