Titon had his very first treadmill appt the other day. (Don't mind me, and his jealous brother barking in the background) Titan has gained a lot of weight since being neutered. So getting back in shape is important. He was pretty nervous at first, as you can see here. Supporting him, and being his cheerleader, really helps. By the end of his time, he was walking on his own, without leaning on me. What you also don't see, is the preparation beforehand. Getting on and off the treadmill with it off, learning that it's not scary. Standing on it and taking treats. And then standing next to it, while it's running, and taking treats. Making sure he understands it's not a scary monster. There are many steps to getting them to this point. :)
