Judge stopped by to see Dr. Profit for his puppy exam and vaccines. At only 12 weeks old, Judge is already an impressive 36 pounds. Judge is a Bordeaux Mastiff and is going to be one very big boy!

Eddie was in to see Dr. Profit for his neuter.

He was such a sweet boy and made himself right at home with plenty of cuddles and snuggles. Dr. Profit especially loved getting some extra kitty snuggle time with this adorable fluffball before his procedure.

Abby was ready to clock in for her shift with Dr. Profit today!

As soon as she came out to the treatment room, she jumped right up on Dr. Profit’s chair like she owned the place and was ready to start seeing patients. Safe to say Abby takes her job very seriously… especially if treats are involved!

She kept the team smiling with her adorable face and tiny “doctor” energy.

Baylee was in to see Dr. Profit for her puppy exam and vaccines. This sweet girl absolutely loved all the treats and cuddles she got during her visit. She was such a brave puppy and made Dr. Profit smile with her adorable face and gentle personality.

What a weekend!

Our Abegweit Animal Hospital team and their families spent the weekend together enjoying some sunshine, laughs, and a little friendly competition! We played a hilarious game of “Guess Who” featuring staff members and their pets and then put our artistic abilities to the test by painting portraits of each other.

We may not have discovered any hidden careers as professional artists, but thankfully we’re much better at doing veterinary medicine than painting portraits!

Between the giant smiles, creative masterpieces, and beautiful PEI weather, it was such a fun way to spend time together outside of the clinic. We’re so lucky to have such an amazing team here at Abegweit Animal Hospital ❤️

This week, we’re celebrating Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week and recognizing three amazing members of our team here at Abegweit Animal Hospital — Alexa, Natalie, and Harlie

Our veterinary assistants play such an important role in the care of our patients every single day. From helping keep pets comfortable during appointments and treatments, to assisting our veterinarians and technicians, cleaning and preparing equipment, comforting nervous owners, and giving endless love and attention to every animal that walks through our doors — they truly do it all!

Alexa, Natalie, and Harlie bring compassion, hard work, and positivity to our hospital each day, and we are so grateful to have them as part of the Abegweit family.

Thank you for everything you do for our patients, clients, and team — we appreciate you more than words can say!
