PEBBLE IS STILL WAITING, so we’re putting her sweet face back on your feed until her people show up. 🩶🐾

Pebble has been waiting since December 2024, when she was trapped in a backyard and brought into foster care. Since then, she has been slowly learning what safety, consistency, and trust can feel like.

She is a quiet, gentle girl whose progress shows up in small, meaningful moments: staying nearby a little longer, relaxing more deeply, watching the world with softer eyes, and learning that people can be safe.

Pebble absolutely LOVES other cats. A friendly, confident resident cat would make a huge difference for her, helping her feel more secure as she settles into a new home. Feline companionship is one of the biggest keys to her comfort and confidence.

Pebble’s dream home is:

It’s , and today’s reminder is about summer parasite prevention. ☀️🐾

Even indoor cats can be exposed to fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, or other pests through dogs, screened patios, cottage trips, foster animals, visitors, wildlife near the home, or the occasional hitchhiker on our clothes.

The big thing to remember: parasite prevention should be cat-safe, not guesswork.

Never use dog flea or tick products on cats. Cats need cat-specific products, proper dosing, and vet guidance.

Foster homes help us say yes more often. 🏠🐾

We are always open to welcoming new foster families because every foster home gives us more flexibility in how we care for cats.

Sometimes that means we can take in another cat who needs help. Sometimes it means we can move a current cat into a quieter space, a better match, or a home where their personality can really shine.

Fostering does not have to mean taking on the hardest case. It can be a friendly adult cat, a shy cat who needs patience, a kitten who needs routine, or a cat who simply needs somewhere safe while they wait for adoption.

The more foster homes we have, the more thoughtfully we can match each cat with the care environment they need.

You do not have to be a cat expert. You just need a safe space, patience, kindness, and a willingness to learn.

Almost one year ago, Jet & Jax left for their forever home together.

Today, they’re known as Ducky & Dipper, and according to their adopter, they are absolutely thriving. 🥹

At the time of their adoption, these boys were still shy and learning to trust. Watching them step out of their carrier and cautiously explore their new home felt like such a huge moment for cats who had once been so nervous and unsure.

Now, nearly a year later, they greet guests at the door, “help” unpack groceries, cuddle in bed every night, and fill their home with affection, curiosity, and personality.

Dipper has become a treat puzzle expert who comes when called and even sits on command. Ducky has chosen a different path in life: being permanently attached to his human at all times. 😭

Their adopter told us:

“It is an absolute joy to wake up to them every single morning. They light up my life.”

And maybe the most special part is this: these boys got to go through every scary new step together.

A new home.
New people.
New routines.
A whole new life.

But they always had each other.

Stories like theirs are such a beautiful reminder of what patience, love, and safety can do for shy cats. 🐾

Nix and Nebula are still waiting for their forever home. 🖤🌌

These two young boys are in foster care and have been settling into the rhythm of home life.

Nix is the quieter little shadow, the kind of cat who likes to know where his people are and follow along from room to room. He is observant, gentle, and always nearby in his own sweet way.

Nebula is the confident brother, curious, social, and very interested in anything that might involve food, attention, or something new to investigate.

Together, they are playful, funny, and full of personality. They love feather toys, window watching, snack supervision, little wrestling matches, and curling up close when the day winds down.

They are not cats who simply sit in the background. They want to be part of your life. They want to follow you through your routines, keep you company, make you laugh, and turn ordinary days into something warmer.

Nix and Nebula would do best in a home that enjoys interactive young cats, can offer playtime and attention, and will love them for the sweet, silly, curious little roommates they are.

They have so much love and personality to bring into the right home. Now they just need the right people to see them.

☀️ Early summer reminder: more open windows, screen doors, patios, balconies, and backyard time can mean more chances for indoor cats to slip outside! 🫢

Even the most careful cat parent can have a scary moment. If your cat gets out, the first steps you take matter. Before you panic, here’s the first thing to know:

Many “lost” cats are not outside at all. They may be hiding silently indoors, even in places you already checked.

A missing cat situation is scary, but the right first steps can make a big difference. What you do in the first hour matters, and chasing, yelling, or leaving doors open can sometimes make things worse.

Maple and Sprout are still waiting. 🤍🧡

We first shared this beautiful mother-and-daughter pair around Mother’s Day, hoping their story would reach the person who was meant to find them. But the days have passed, and they are still here.

Maple has spent so much of her life being exactly what Sprout needed: a safe place, a steady presence, a mother, a best friend. She has comforted her daughter, stayed close to her, and helped her feel brave in a world that has not yet given them a home.

And Sprout still looks for her. She looks to Maple for reassurance, for companionship, for that quiet kind of love only they seem to understand. They nap together, groom each other, and move through their days side by side, as if reminding one another, “I’m still here.”

Please don’t let Maple and Sprout keep waiting for a family simply because they come as a pair. They are not “two cats.” They are a little family. And they are looking for someone who will see that keeping them together is not extra work. It is an act of love.

Maple, a gentle calico mom, is calm. Sprout, her sweet tabby daughter, is curious, playful, and full of personality, but her heart is clearly tied to Maple’s.

They don’t need much. A soft place to land. A patient home. A person who understands that some bonds are too precious to break.

About one year ago, Bubbles found her forever home. ❤️

For a long time, she was our longest-waiting cat. She was affectionate, playful, loyal, and so full of love, but somehow, she kept being overlooked.

Now, one year later, she is cherished exactly as she deserves to be. 🥹

Bubbles has become a beloved cuddle companion, a favourite among family and friends, and even a gentle little ambassador for people who were once nervous around cats.

Her adopter shared:

“What started as a foster journey made me realize how much Bubbles has contributed to my home. All my loved ones and friends fall in love with her; even people I know who have been afraid of cats all their life can't resist her cuteness and friendly nature! She is my cuddle companion through and through and I'm so glad to be able to take care of her for the rest of her precious life.” ❤️

There is something so special about seeing a cat who once waited and waited become so deeply loved.
