I don’t even know where to begin.
Yesterday, we unexpectedly lost the most incredible dog I’ve ever known.
Justin, you changed my life in ways you’ll never know. You are the reason I fell in love with dogs and the reason I chose to build my life around caring for them. Without you, there would be no passion for this career, no dream of working with dogs, and no understanding of just how special they truly are.
You were the gentlest giant. All you ever wanted was to make friends. Every person, every dog - you loved them all. Your goofy personality, your giant smile, and your kind heart made everyone who met you fall in love with you.
You taught me what unconditional love looks like, and saying goodbye has left a hole in my heart that can never be filled.
Luna and Lupo are already looking for you. The three of you did everything together, and I know they’re going to miss their big brother just as much as we will.
Thank you for every adventure, every cuddle, every laugh, and every memory. Thank you for being my reason.
I hope you’re running free, making friends with every dog you meet, and getting all the belly rubs you deserve.
You will always be my heart dog. You were the best boy anyone could have ever asked for, and I will spend the rest of my life missing you.
