Back in a day I rode an AQHA gelding named Ike Boy Punk who was bred by Stanley Johnson of Ree Heights, South Dakota. I rode him through the week in the PFRA community pasture and competed on him on the weekend in AQHA events and the odd rodeo. Despite having recovered from a broken coffin bone there was nothing that could out run him. He won in heading, heeling and calf roping. In 1979 he was runner up SQHA hi pt calf roping horse. A cross by Anchor K Punk x Cow Lady Drift he was the perfect 'cow' pony.
This year we will have a few foals by 3 different foundation bred stallions bred to high percentage Driftwood mares. Please check our BQH fb page for updates on these foals and your chance to own a perfect 'cow' pony.
