Handsome Taiga!

Looking for his Forever Family!

Meet Taiga! DOB April 2025. He is a beautiful double blue-eyed red merle male Miniature American Shepherd, standing just over 19 inches tall. He is vaccinated and neutered.

We originally kept him as our pick of the litter to evaluate how he would mature, but he ended up being taller than we are aiming for, and his temperament is more confident and assertive than we would like to continue with in our breeding program.

Taiga would do best in a home without other dogs, or at least without another dominant male. He would thrive with someone experienced with the breed and comfortable managing a highly confident, intelligent dog. He is quite protective of his property, so continued training and proper management will be important for his success.

He has been through puppy basic manners classes and has a solid recall and a good grasp of basic obedience commands.

He is very affectionate and loving towards his family. He’s good with cats and chickens. He was raised with kids who know and respect the breed but is not a tug toy for super young kiddos.
