We mourn the loss of a dear friend and renowned Hereford breeder, Joe Scherloski whose tireless work ethic and discerning eye for quality cattle will be deeply missed. Our condolences go out to Winnie & the girls, Kenny and the other guy.

Meet Codee Kopelchuk, a member of Team White headed to the World Hereford Conference Young Breeder Competition!

Codee Kopelchuk is originally from Canora, Saskatchewan, where her family operates PK Herefords and Angus, raising and selling purebred Horned Hereford and Red Angus seedstock. Since graduating, she has furthered her education in the United States, earning an Associate of Science in Agriculture from Hutchinson Community College. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a specialization in Production Management at South Dakota State University.

Throughout her academic journey, she has been actively involved in livestock judging teams at both institutions—a passion that initially inspired her to continue her education abroad. She is incredibly honoured and excited to represent the Canadian Hereford breed on a national level. Codee sees being able to showcase the quality and dedication of Canadian cattle producers as a privilege, and she looks forward to continuing to promote the industry that has shaped who she is today.
