Touchstone Riders, entries are due by Friday just so I can get a handle on entries and PRIZES. Have I mentioned our Champion and Reserve Champion ribbons for top riders in each division? Have I mentioned we're placing to 8th (pretty purple and tan ribbons this time)? Have I mentioned the CHEESEBALLS? If you don't want to show, come out and support the other riders, have some food, watch the fun. Weather permitting we're outside, if not, we'll be in the arena. Rain or shine, we're showing!

Happy Thanksgiving to all our families and friends across the provinces. Lessons shuffled a bit today to allow riders home for family dinners. Enjoy the turkey! We are thankful for all of our blessings ❤️

Riding with a friend is such a wonderful experience. Sharing and learning with a peer is such a rewarding and empowering thing. It also teaches compassion and empathy. There is so much more to riding than sitting on a horse ❤️
Our lesson program is filling quickly. Our show is coming up fast. Our clothing forms are ready to be ordered from. There's a lit going on here at the farm!

Riders, parents, families...don't forget to get your entries in for the horse show! Ribbons to 8th place, Champion and Reserve Champion in each division, prizes, and a fabulous time to be had. Always lots of fun and encouragement. Don't forget we have our Rusty Stirrup division for our 'mature' riders AND our Reverse Leadline class for those younger riders wanting to lead their parent/grandparent around on their favourite horse. It's going to be EPIC!!! Deadline to enter is next Friday, Oct 16th. DO NOT MISS OUT!

Some sad news to share. Last night we said goodbye to one of our minis Dakota. She had only been with us a year, but she left a big impression on us. Our goal here at the farm is to do as much as possible as long as possible until they tell us otherwise, and Dakota let us know it was her time. She was surrounded by all her favourite people here in Nova Scotia

Horses and kids have a way of keeping you humble. Thank you Jane for reminding us that we are your minions and that ALL the hay should be your hay...and that none of it should belong to Geena.
Wall is fixed, horses are fine, Geena didn't care, and Jane was hungry...even though she had already eaten. Hangry much Jane?

We had so much fun we're doing it again! Sunday October 25th we're having another show. More ribbons, more fun, more laughter. Sign up sheets are in the lounge, but I'm also able to send them digitally if you'd prefer. Just make sure to get them in to me soon. This time we'll be doing ribbons to 8th place, plus Champion and Reserve Champion for each division. It's going to be EPIC!
