Our schooling show is coming up! June 21st will get here quickly, and we're busy getting all our ducks in a row. Reminder to riders to get those entries in this week so we can make sure we've got a proper headcount. We can't wait! I'll be sending out an info sheet to all the families asap too. Let's do this!

Did you hear the news? Our team won BEST GROUP entry for the parade! Not too shabby for a first time entry...but what we lacked in Nova Scotia experience, we made up for in ENTHUSIASM! You guys are giving me all sorts of ideas for the next ones. Just wait until Christmas and see what we have for the minis then too!

Tomorrow is the big day! We're walking in the Children's Parade tomorrow with some of our barn families. We're busy doing prep work today, but sooooo excited to walk tomorrow. Kids, ponies, a little glitter, a little magic and a whole lot of fun! Wave hello to us when you see us, pretty sure you won't be able to miss us ;)

Camp dates are filling up quickly, we are over 2/3 full with a space or two open in most weeks. Sessions 1 and 2 are completely FULL.
Give your child the most memorable experience this summer. Come learn about horses, learn to ride, and enjoy the fresh air. We offer small groups to be able to focus on each camper and support them in their goals. We have wonderful horses in a variety of experience levels to help each rider be comfortable in their learning...or to experience a little bit more of a challenge if they're already established. Our farm offers both indoor and outdoor riding options just in case the weather doesn't feel like cooperating. We've got it covered! Shoot us a message for more info, it's an experience they'll be talking about all year.

As we gear up for show season, always remember the horse comes first. The bond between horse and rider is more important than any ribbon. Progress takes time. If you're not willing to put in the time, you can't expect the results. Brenna's season is gearing up and she's put a lot of work into Bryan, but their goal is only to keep learning and improving. He's not an easy horse.
For our riders coming to the show, your job is to come and have fun. Enjoy the day, enjoy the process, learn some things and have some fun! Enjoy spending time with friends and horses. At the end of the day, you got to spend time with some pretty awesome people and horses...that's always a good day! Be proud of your accomplishments, be proud of your progress....I know we are

Peep (the cat) was not quite the help I was looking for while I got some show prep done in the lounge. At least she provided moral support?

We're going to try something we've never done before. We're open to the idea of finding a part-boarder for Beauty. Here's the post:
Looking for one part-boarder for our mare, Beauty. On property only. She’s a 9yr old, 14.3h paint/QH mare, one blue eye, smart, sassy, and knows a trick or two. She is a TON of fun, if you can take a joke. She is NOT a beginner horse, she’s too smart for that; an advanced novice or above only. She can jump (loves to actually), canters, walks and trots….just doesn’t have her lead changes just yet. She’s shown at a few different venues in Ontario, both indoor and outdoor, even competed at a big Fall Fair, she didn’t bat an eye. She does have a few quirks, I’m happy to discuss them with potential riders. What we offer in the part-boarding: 3 rides a week, one of which is a lesson. We have an indoor arena, an outdoor ring, a great big outdoor sand ring, and a cross-country course. The only reason we’re considering a part-board is that she wants to do more than she is right now. She’s a fun ride, she just wants to be doing more of it. We have a few rules and stipulations for a part-board, all of which can be discussed with interested parties. $350/month, must have own ENS membership. If you're interested, shoot me a message, we can chat! We will be particular about who gets to do this, she is family and we want to ensure that she stays happy
