Meet Dr. Hunter Shepherd!

This 50 lb bundle of love is looking for a family to match his energy and enthusiasm! Hunter is affectionate, playful, and happiest when he’s spending time with his people. His favourite thing? THE BALL. Seriously, fetch is his love language!

Hunter is house-trained, knows some basic obedience, and is ready to keep learning. He’ll need some help with leash manners, jumping when excited, and building confidence when left alone.

Hunter would do best as the only pet in the home, though he may be a match for a female dog following proper introductions. 🐕

Looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will keep you active and entertained? Hunter might just be your guy! ❤️

FEEL GOOD FURIDAY 💕
We renamed Steve to Gizmo and he is already starting to get the hang of the name!
He adapted much faster to our dog than we thought. By day 2, he wasn't running away or being defensive.

FEEL GOOD FURIDAY 💕
I just wanted to check in and let you know that Smurf is doing really well. She is definitely getting more and more comfortable each day. A little skittish with loud noises and quick movements, but aside from that she will lay down on the floor or the couch beside us, and is very playful throughout the evening and early morning.

FEEL GOOD FURIDAY💕
It has been exactly six months since we brought Berry home with us. She is the sweetest, gentlest GIANT you could imagine. While originally thought to be a lab mix, she has been more closely identified as primarily English Mastiff with a touch of German Shepherd and maybe even a bit of Great Dane! Now 7.5 months old, she is 75 lbs and still growing! I can officially pet her without bending over.
She of course fancies herself a lap dog, and when we're not available to sit with her, she totally makes herself comfortable in "our spots." She's certainly a heavy chewer and just last week went through a "guaranteed durable even for the heaviest chewer" toy tire in less than 4 hours - OY! She is quite the puller on walks and various types of harnesses were not helpful, so at the recommendation of our vet we bought a head harness (he said she is basically a tiny horse now!) and it works like magic ... she's a dream to walk now!
We love her so much, and she brings us so much joy. We are so happy we got to be the lucky ones to adopt Berry and give her a home. Of course, a few pics are attached including a throwback to Adoption Day, and some more recent ones.
We still need to stop by and say hello in person, and drop off the teeny tiny harness she came home in so it can bring luck to the next puppy who needs it.
