Our Emergency Pet Food Bank will be open to residents of Cambridge.
📌Pick up 1650 Dunbar Road - Wednesdays 12pm-4pm
📌Food availability depends on donations; specific brands cannot be guaranteed
📌Pick-ups are limited to once per month
📌Valid ID with proof of Cambridge address is required at every visit

This program is intended to assist during emergencies, not for long-term or ongoing support

‼️ We kindly remind everyone that we have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful or abusive behavior toward our staff and volunteers. They are here to help and deserve to be treated with respect.

Hi, I'm Jax!
I'm a handsome guy with a story that's still a bit of a mystery. I arrived as a stray, so no one knows much about my past-but I'm ready to leave that behind and focus on finding a forever home.
One thing I do know? Dogs just aren't my thing. I'm looking for a home without canine companions where I can relax and enjoy life at my own pace.
I should also tell you that I'm FIV positive. Don't let that scare you away! FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is often misunderstood. Cats like me can live long, happy, healthy lives with routine veterinary care, a nutritious diet, and an indoor lifestyle. FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, and many FIV-positive cats live normal lifespans with no special care beyond regular veterinary checkups.
What I'm really hoping for is someone who will see past a label and see me-a cat who deserves love, comfort, and a place to finally call home. I promise to repay your kindness with companionship, purrs, and plenty of personality.
Could you be the person I've been waiting for? I'd love the chance to show you that second chances can be the very best ones.

Our Emergency Pet Food Bank is a crucial program that helps Cambridge families keep their beloved pets fed during times when they’re struggling. But tomorrow is almost here, and we simply don’t have enough food. 💔

Hi, I'm Mookie.
I'm 15 years old, and I've been through a lot lately. My person passed away, and there was no family who could take me in, so I found myself at the shelter.
I'll admit, it's been a pretty big change. But even after everything, I'm still the same sweet, affectionate girl who loves being around people.
The nice people here had some blood work done to see how I'm doing, and they were amazed at my results! For a 15-year-old cat, my blood work is remarkable-not one value was out of place.
I do have something called a "gallop" in my heart, which may mean I'm in heart failure. The truth is, I may not have a lot of time left. But I don't think that means I should spend whatever time I have left in a shelter. I'd prefer to be your one and only, so if you have other pets I'm not the girl for you.
I may be an older girl, but I still have so much love to give. I just want a warm bed, a loving person and a home where I can feel safe and cherished.
Maybe I won't be with you for years and years. But I promise, I'll make every day I have with you count.
Could you be my forever home, even if forever might be shorter than we hoped?
