Training isn’t just about teaching your dog commands; it’s about building a better relationship together. 🐶

We believe every dog has their own personality, challenges, and learning style, which is why training goes deeper than “sit” and “stay.” It helps create a stronger bond through:
✔ Clear communication between you and your dog
✔ Confidence in new situations
✔ Better behavior and social skills
✔ A happier, more balanced companion

The right training approach can transform everyday moments into a better life for both you and your pup. 🐾

Some dogs see daycare as a fun day out; others see it as their favourite place to be. 🐕

Here are a few pups who often enjoy the extra adventure:
🔹 Golden Retrievers: Thrive on friendship and social play.
🔹 Australian Shepherds: Need engagement to keep their busy brains happy.
🔹 Boxers: Love having space to play and burn energy.
🔹 Poodles: Enjoy learning, interaction, and mental challenges.

Every dog is unique, but the right daycare can bring out their best side. 🐶 Let your dog learn, play, and grow with us.

One of the biggest misconceptions in dog training? That it's only for puppies. ❌

Dogs don't suddenly stop learning once they grow up. In fact, many adult dogs thrive when given new challenges, structure, and opportunities to learn. Age may change the lessons, but it doesn't end the learning process. 🐾

A wagging tail isn’t always just a sign of happiness; it’s your dog communicating. 🐶

Dogs use their body language to share how they’re feeling, and understanding those signals can make training experiences even better. 🐾

Some common "wag" meanings include:
🔹 Fast wag + excited body = happy and ready to interact
🔹 Slow wag + tense posture = unsure or cautious
🔹 Loose, relaxed wag = comfortable and friendly
🔹 Low wag = nervous or seeking reassurance

Learning your dog’s signals helps build a stronger connection and better understanding.

Helping every pup reach their potential is the reason we do what we do. 💛

Thank you, Deb, for sharing your experience and trusting us along the way. We’re grateful to be part of so many amazing training stories. 🐾

In-Image Text: “We took our 8-month-old pup to Mike for training and all I can say is he knows his stuff. He showed us how to walk her properly (not pulling), place her, have her stay, etc. He gave us the tools we need to continue training our puppy (yep, she is a work in progress lol) The difference from when she started till she graduated was impressive. We highly recommend Mike for training; you won't regret it if you want to have a well-trained dog. Less” - Deb Tait

Ever notice your dog comes home from daycare with a few “new habits”? 🐶

Every tail wag, play session, and interaction at daycare is a chance to observe and understand. Dogs naturally look to other dogs to figure out what’s safe, fun, and acceptable behaviour. Sometimes their best lessons come from their own furry friends. 🐾

Give your dog the benefits of a fun-filled daycare experience. Contact us today.

Yes, but not the way you think. 🐶

A Border Collie can run for hours and still look for their next challenge. These clever dogs don’t just need movement; they need something to figure out, learn, or solve. 🧠 Training games and mental activities are often their favourite kind of workout.

For a Border Collie, a tired brain can be just as important as tired paws. 🐾

Beagle owners know the look “I heard you, but I have priorities.” 🐶

Those adorable moments of ignoring commands often come from a breed built to explore and follow scents. Training isn’t about changing who they are; it’s about helping them focus while keeping their fun personality. A smart Beagle just needs a reason to listen.
