PSA: For anyone wondering, I am NOT a groomer! I don't offer baths or haircuts.

My own Maine c**n cat can attest to my lack of hair cutting abilities. I personally take him to a groomer myself!

I can help shave mats out, that is fine. But please know it will be functional, and not beautiful.

Nails are all about MAINTENANCE, not ✨ Miracles✨

Regular nail trims will help prevent your pet from ripping their nails, clicking on the floor loudly at night, alternated paw postures that lead to arthritis or make it worse

Nails should be trimmed every 4 to 6 weeks for both cats and dogs! Exotics vary.

Did you know cats have sheaths of skin that hide their nails when not in use? This is why we don't hear their toe beans clicking on the floor like dogs when they walk through the house! 🐈‍⬛🐈

Did you know that if you don't trim your cats nails often enough, they can grow long enough to click on the floor when they walk!

This can cause serious health issues, such as the nails growing INTO the paw pads. This is extremely painful, and can lead to infections that will need medical attention.

Did you know pocket pets also need regular nail trims?! 🐇🐹

Without their natural habitats to dig out burrows for themselves, their nails can get overgrown and curl. This causes them to walk improperly and become painful.

Thankfully they are very easy to trim! Ask me how today, I have taught MANY owners over the years :)

Not comfortable doing it yourself? Don't fret! I am more than happy to take on the task.

(For those who may not know, pocket pets is a broad term for any small furry critter who inhabits a cage or enclosure. Such as, but not limited to: rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats and more :) )
