We’re looking for passionate dog lovers to join the Top Dog Gear family for our Fall 2026 Ambassador Team!

If you love exploring with your pup, creating content, and supporting a small Canadian business, we’d love to hear from you!

🍁 Ambassador Term:
September 15, 2026 – January 14, 2027

We’re looking for ambassadors who:
🐾 Have an adventure-loving dog and enjoy being active both outdoors and online
🐾 Run an active dog, cat, horse, or pet-related social media account
🐾 Love engaging with the community and sharing their passion for Top Dog Gear
🐾 Are 18 years of age or older

It’s been a while since I’ve shown my face around here, so I figured it was time for a little reintroduction!

Hi, I’m Denise - the person behind Top Dog Gear!

TDG is a huge part of my life, but I also work a 9–5, so you’ll often find me working on orders and all things Top Dog Gear during my evenings and weekends. It keeps me busy, but I truly love seeing all your dogs in their TDG gear!

Outside of work, I’m Daisy’s mom, my happy place is the lake, I love puzzles, probably eat too much chocolate, and despite the busy schedule… I still refuse to become a coffee drinker.

I’m also a huge supporter of other small businesses because I know just how much work and love goes on behind the scenes.

I’m so thankful for everyone who continues to support TDG, whether you’ve placed an order, shared a post, recommended us, or simply followed along. It really does mean so much. ❤️

Due to the recently announced 50% U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods, Top Dog Gear will be temporarily pausing all U.S. orders beginning August 5.

This cutoff allows us enough time to handcraft, process, and ship all existing U.S. orders before the proposed tariff changes take effect on August 19.

As a Canadian small business, we are beyond disappointed. Our American customers have been an incredible part of our journey, and this is not a decision we ever imagined having to make.

While there is still a possibility these tariffs could be delayed, reduced, or removed altogether, we have to plan for the information we have today. If the situation changes, we’ll happily reopen U.S. orders and update our community immediately.

If you’re in the U.S. and have been thinking about placing an order, August 5 will be the final day we’ll be accepting U.S. orders until we have more clarity.

To every one of our American customers who has supported our little Canadian business over the years - thank you. Your support has meant more than words can express, and we truly hope this is only temporary.

We’re hopeful that we’ll be shipping to the U.S. again soon.
