Our halters got an upgrade! 🐴✨

Introducing our new and improved TDG halter design, featuring:

🤍 Super Heavy BioThane
🤍 Your choice of stainless steel or brass hardware
🤍 A leather breakaway crown
🤍 Sewn connection points for a clean, finished look

Rain, snow or muddy paddock days - BioThane is made for all weather! Strong, durable and easy to wipe clean, it’s a great choice for everyday barn life. No soggy straps, and less time scrubbing mud 🙌

Ted was our very first halter test subject, so these will always hold a special place in my heart. Having him be part of where it all started makes sharing this updated design even more meaningful 🤍

Swipe for a closer look at all the details! What colour would you choose for your horse? 🤍

🚨 FOUR COLOURS ARE RETIRING 🚨

We’re saying goodbye to:

🍫 Milk Chocolate
🍏 Green Apple
🌸 Pink Blossom
💜 Periwinkle

These colours will officially be removed from our website on October 15th. If one of your favourites is on this list, now is your last chance to order!

Once they’re gone, they’re gone! 👋🏼

A little reminder that Top Dog Gear will not be attending the Pet Expo this weekend! 🐾

We’ll definitely miss seeing everyone and their dogs, but you can still shop all of your TDG favourites online! 💕

We hope everyone attending has the best weekend, and we can’t wait to see you again at the Christmas Pet Expo! 🎄🐶

🤍 The Kali Memorial Pack Walk

On October 3rd, we’ll be coming together from around the world to honour Kali’s memory the best way we know how… by getting outside with our dogs!

On Saturday, October 3, we invite you to take your dog for a walk (or yourself!)- whether it’s around the block, on your favourite trail, or somewhere new.

This walk is about remembering the dogs who have left paw prints on our hearts while helping those still searching for their forever homes.

Here’s how to join:
🐾 Walk your dog on October 3
📸 Share a photo or video from your walk
🏷️ Tag TOP DOG | BIOTHANE GEAR in your post or story

❤️ For every dog that participates, Top Dog Gear will donate $5 to a dog rescue. We will be splitting the donation between Tango’s Lead | Canine Rescue (a close rescue to our heart and brand) & Pawsitively Furever (where Daisy was adopted from).

Let’s honour Kali’s legacy by creating more second chances for dogs in need.

08/07/2026

It’s been a while since I’ve shown my face around here, so I figured it was time for a little reintroduction!

Hi, I’m Denise - the person behind Top Dog Gear!

TDG is a huge part of my life, but I also work a 9–5, so you’ll often find me working on orders and all things Top Dog Gear during my evenings and weekends. It keeps me busy, but I truly love seeing all your dogs in their TDG gear!

Outside of work, I’m Daisy’s mom, my happy place is the lake, I love puzzles, probably eat too much chocolate, and despite the busy schedule… I still refuse to become a coffee drinker.

I’m also a huge supporter of other small businesses because I know just how much work and love goes on behind the scenes.

I’m so thankful for everyone who continues to support TDG, whether you’ve placed an order, shared a post, recommended us, or simply followed along. It really does mean so much. ❤️

Now that you know a little more about me, tell me something about YOU below!
