Leaves falling like snow flakes with trees nearly bare. Autumn has come and is now shedding her colors to reveal winter. Desperate squirrels rustle through the thatch for every last nut and birds have now become scarce. Seasons come and go, though the 'go' seems to come on much quicker than the long anticipated wait for the beginning.

It is a cool, sunny day in the forest with a base of dirt and leaves. It is a beautiful autumn day with sunlight casting rays through the trees above, illuminating the colorful forest floor below. The sound of fall is unmistakable with the crunching of leaves underfoot, step by step. It is a great day for the dogs to gander at the busy squirrels and grab a few good sniffs along the way.

It is a beautiful day to be amongst colorful nature and submerged in busy squirrels gathering winter supplies; a great day for the dogs to enjoy some cool sniffs and mouth off at a few dogs from the west side gang.

Busy squirrels and beavers to admire today along the riverbank trails of the Speed and Grand. A great day for the dogs to do a little bushwhacking, log hopping, and sniffing along the desolate and unique river paths often overlooked.

Sunning snakes and scavenging squirrels everywhere kept the pack on their toes today; good rotten sniffs and dogs from the west side gang kept them entertained between squirrel sightings, making it a beautiful day to be amongst nature within the colors of fall.

A bright, colorful day for autumn adventures, with crunching leaves underfoot, a cool breeze through the timbers, and acorns disappearing one squirrel at a time. It is a great day to keep an eye on the busy squirrels, grab some cool sniffs, and paw-stomp some sunning snakes.

Leaves are slowly gathering on the trails, crunching with each step, while squirrels everywhere are feverishly gathering their nuts for the winter months ahead; it is beginning to look and sound like fall a bit more every day. It is a great time of year for the dogs to find enjoyment outside without the elements causing harm or distress, good for sniffing, hunting, and amazing adventures in the forests we see cycle through their changes each year.

Cooler fall temperatures allowed for a quicker pace and greater distance today. A great day for exploring the nooks and crannies of the forest and gathering some cool sniffs along the way. Snakes and squirrels beware, as the packs were alert and on cue today.
