We are officially about 2 weeks out from our moving date! 📦🏡

This whole process — like any move, I guess — has been hectic, fast, and a little chaotic behind the scenes. Although a lot easier than moving across country! Between packing, organizing, and coordinating everything, the next few weeks may be a bit quieter than normal around here.

That said, it will probably take about 3 weeks to get fully back up to speed with regular posting and responses… maybe longer depending on internet providers 😒

As far as the important details go:
✨ We are still staying in the same general area
✨ Pickup and delivery arrangements will remain the same
✨ Nightmagic isn’t changing — just the location

As before, due to ongoing issues with certain individuals in NY, our home address will continue to remain private for safety reasons.

This move won’t be changing how we operate — just giving everyone a little heads up that replies, updates, and posting may temporarily be slower while we get settled into our new home. ❤️

I hinted at this last year… and while things changed direction (which ultimately led us to Monty), sometimes those changes bring something even better.

We have a very special new addition here at Nightmagic ✨

We’re moving in 20 days, so all of my camera gear is currently packed away — and I really want to do this one justice, especially capturing those eyes properly… because they are what truly set them apart.

Well… there may be a little change in plans over here 👀

We did a very brief pairing with Opal and Jack—literally one night. Opal was feeling extra diva-ish, and Jack was being a bit shy, so I didn’t stay to witness anything. There was some classic squawking… but also a lot of Opal yelling at him just for existing 😅

To be completely honest, I walked away thinking it was a long shot and didn’t have much faith that anything actually happened.

But now we’re about two weeks out… and it’s looking like there might be something brewing.

Genetically, I was really curious to see what Opal and Orlando could produce together—but at the same time, I’ve been so interested in seeing what Jack would do with an F1. So if this ends up being the case, it’s definitely an exciting (and unexpected) twist.

Nothing confirmed yet—but we’ll be watching closely over the next little while 👀✨

✨ A Very Special Visitor at Nightmagic ✨

Something unexpected came out of the TICA cat show—and I’ve been dying to share it. Without further ado…

Meet Orlando — visiting us from Wildewonder Cattery 💚

It actually started as a bit of a joke. I said if I could be picky, I’d love to work toward a cleaner silver line one day… and somehow that conversation turned into this incredible opportunity.

After Potato and her pyometra, I’ve been especially mindful with my girls who are now over two years old and haven’t been bred yet. Preventing that from happening again is a top priority for me. With Monty still needing a few more months, Wildewonder very graciously offered to let Orlando come stay with us in the meantime.

And while I don’t breed for color… it just so happens he is a stunning silver boy. ✨
Very pale, beautifully even in tone, with a lovely curly coat and that rounder head type I adore. I could not have planned this if I tried, when I say unexpected I truly mean it. But I couldn’t be more excited and grateful nonetheless.

For now, Orlando is simply visiting — but we’re hopeful this may mean upcoming litters from Miso, Tziki, Opal, and Eily. 🤍

A huge thank you again to Wildewonder Cattery for trusting me with such a special boy. He truly is as sweet as he is handsome.
