🚨 WANTED: A CHILD-FREE WOMAN WITH THE PATIENCE OF A SAINT AND A SOFT SPOT FOR GRUMPY OLD MEN! 🚨

Meet Coco! 🐾

He’s approximately 6 years old, ridiculously adorable, and has the personality of an 87-year-old man who just found out someone touched his thermostat. 😂

His business hours are 8 AM–7:30 PM. After that? Management is CLOSED. He’d like some peace and quiet, thank you very much. 👴

Coco has had a rough start in life and needs someone who understands that trust takes time. ❤️

🏡 Adult-only home. NO kids.
👩 Experienced female caregiver preferred.
🐕 Other pets are generally fine.
💻 Work-from-home lifestyle.
🧠 Experience with biting and resource guarding is essential.
❤️ Patience, consistency, and unconditional love.

Coco! Ok so he’s a bit of an as***le but he’s also adorable, cuddly, can live in peace with dogs and cats just don’t expect him to love them. He’s old, but still has lots of life in him. He’s been vetted and is looking for the right lap. HIS ADOPTION FEE IS NEGOTIABLE FOR THE RIGHT HOME.

Remember Ricky? He came to us from a transport in the summer. It turns out the little guy had a few more issues to deal with and we had originally thought, but he’s feeling much better and is ready to start looking for his forever home! He’s about six years old, recently had an entire Dental done, has been neutered and is micro chipped. Hey team. Coco needs a new foster asap. He’s not suitable to be around children, he needs an adult only home. He’s a special needs little jerk, but has a lot of positive attributes. Can someone help us out and take him on while we find a perfect home.

Meet Coco

The most cutest ball of fluff you've ever seen. Despite his good looks this high needs boy requires a unique home.

What we know is Coco has been severely neglected most of his life. Despite wanting connection he truly struggles to fully trust even in a safe and warm environment.

Coco has a unique personality similar to grumpy old man and only operates on a positive note between the hours of 8:00 am and 7:30 PM. After that he prefers a calm quiet environment with little to no action.

Coco is a biter, and will give a brief warning before he engages. Despite his size and the removal of 8 of his teeth he still packs a punch. This is where experience, patience, and understanding come into play.

No amount of cuddling, spoiling or forgiving will change this boy. He is who he is and that needs to be specifically understood. A soft hearted soul, with nothing but time to spend bonding with Coco and understand his ways is required.

We cannot be more clear in Coco's needs as we must set him up for success.

Coco's top requirements

- A woman
- No children
- he is fine with other animals, mostly ignores them.
- Aggressive dog experience
- Guarding/resource guarding experience
- Work from home
- Ability to cover vet costs
- Regular grooming
- Patience of a saint
- Commitment to long term recovery & healthy environment.

Meet and greets will be handled over a period of time in a structured environment. You'll need to speak with Joey's Rescue and his current foster prior to meeting him. You will be require to come meet Coco in his current environment, a home check is mandatory. If interested a consideration period will begin. If after 48 hours you are still interested and would like to trail Coco over a weekend he will be dropped off on a Friday and returned to his foster after three days if it's not a good fit.

Coco doesn't have the luxury of not meeting his forever home. His needs are quite high and only the most qualified/committed applicants will be considered.

Ricky is not looking for a quiet retirement home. 😂 He’s a 6-year-old, 23 lb Chihuahua mix with ENERGY, personality, and plenty of opinions — and he’s looking for someone who can keep up. ❤️

Ricky is affectionate, loves his people, and absolutely wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. Car ride? He’s in. Couch time? Absolutely. Adventure? Even better. He’s a fun, active little guy who thrives when he has structure, consistency, and boundaries.

And we’re going to be honest about this one: Ricky needs a confident adopter who is comfortable setting firm boundaries and following through with them. He’s smart, strong-willed, and needs someone willing to calmly provide the structure and consistency he needs to be his best self.

🏡 Ricky is looking for an ADULT-ONLY home. No children.

🐶 He would do best with another small, high-energy dog who enjoys playing and can match his enthusiasm. He does well with cats, too!

Ricky is house trained and excellent in the car, so whether you’re heading out for a walk, an adventure, or just a drive around town, this little guy is ready to come along. 🚗🐾

The good news? Ricky has officially checked two important things off his to-do list! ✅ He has been neutered and had his dental done. He’s also vaccinated and dewormed, so he’s ready to find his forever family!

🐾 MEET COCO! 🐾

Coco is an 8-year-old Pomeranian who hasn’t had the greatest start to life. 💔 But his past doesn’t have to define his future. We’re determined to find this little guy the happily ever after he deserves. ❤️

Coco is the definition of a little companion dog. He LOVES cuddles and would happily spend his days curled up beside his person, keeping them company and soaking up all the attention. 🥰

Because of his past, Coco still has a few things to work on. He is not fully house-trained, so he needs a patient and consistent person who is willing to continue working with him and help him succeed.

He is also looking for a home where he will very seldom be left alone. Ideally, his person will be home most of the time because Coco really thrives on companionship. 🏡❤️

He’s good with other dogs, although he’s mostly indifferent to them. He doesn’t need a canine best friend—he’d be perfectly happy being your little shadow.

🚨 IMPORTANT: Coco absolutely cannot live with children. He is not comfortable with kids, so we are looking for an adult-only home where he can relax and feel safe.

Coco recently went in for his neuter and dental, so he’ll soon be feeling his best and ready to start the next chapter of his life. 🦷✨
