For National Feral Cat Day, we’re celebrating the cats who live in the shadows, often forgotten, discarded, or simply misunderstood because they haven’t learned to trust humans.
They deserve kindness, safety, and love just as much as any other cat. Sometimes, behind those watchful eyes is simply a scared cat who has never known what it feels like to be safe.
They may never become lap cats, and that’s okay. They don’t have to be social to be worthy of our compassion. Sometimes, all they need is someone willing to show them compassion and care for them on their terms. ❤️
