✨ Did you know? The term “Pit Bull” doesn’t actually refer to a single dog breed! 🐾

It’s a general label used to describe a group of dogs that share similar physical traits — like strong, muscular builds, broad chests, and those unmistakably adorable blocky heads. ❤️

Much like how we say “retrievers” or “hounds,” “pit bull” refers to a type of dog, not a specific breed.

Dogs often called pit bulls may have a mix of genetics from breeds such as the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Boxer, Mastiff, Labrador Retriever, and many others.

So next time you hear “pit bull,” remember — it’s not about the breed, it’s about a beautiful variety of dogs who share some amazing traits! 🐶💪

🦠🌍 While rabies is a deadly virus, the good news is that it's completely preventable with vaccines! As veterinarians, it's our mission to ensure our furry friends stay protected, and that includes regular rabies vaccinations. 🐶💉

🔹 Why Rabies Vaccines Matter:
Rabies is a zoonotic disease, which means it can spread from animals to humans. It’s fatal once symptoms appear, but with regular vaccinations, we can stop it in its tracks before it even starts! 🌟
