This little lady came in due to sores/lesions on her feet called pododermatitis (bumblefoot). A medicated foot soak, paring out the lesions, laser therapy, bandaging and medications and she was like a new hen 🐓♥️🐓. She even left us with a gift egg she laid in clinic 😂

This little girl, Pine, was in for her final puppy vaccines and her canine deciduous (baby) tooth was noticed to be discolored compared to her other teeth. This indicates the tooth is dead, and usually infected.

While baby teeth do usually fall out on their own by 6 months of age, leaving an infected one in the mouth can lead to painful abscesses as well as permanent damage of the developing adult tooth.

Pine’s mom booked her in for an extraction right away, and the tooth did in fact have pus around the root, hidden beneath the gums.

The post extraction photo shows just how long these roots are!
