3 things I hate that I love!
1. Fuzzy Polyester blankets. Am I going to get cancer from these things?
2. Reading fantasy books on a device. Man, I love the smell and feel of a real book but if I wasn't so cheap, I would have every Kindle they make.
3. Newfoundland Dogs. Why do I cherish such a high maintenance (grooming), drooly, body slamming, takes up all the space in my van, expensive breed of dog? (This one isn't so much hate that I love, just a bit annoyed at myself sometimes)

In a world full of AI, I decided to post the opposite. An unedited photo, celebrating a real moment of peace and happiness. I quickly realized the picture is taken from my iPhone and that s**t edits out my freckles and wrinkles when I attempt a selfie, so definitely not a free and natural photo. It made me think of other things I feel guilty about loving.

Ba****ck pad on, Wyatt's helmet on
Training carrots loaded in pocket
Bring W***y and Wyatt back into pasture and into arena
River is still bopping around
Lift Wyatt up on W***y
River passes out 😫

Behaviour investments.
I felt really guilty about not investing a ton of time into Scout's show and obedience potential. His heeling is so cool, he can really float when he moves and he is super active and engaged while working. Today I dropped the guilt. The real life training that went into this big dude really hit me today and I am very proud of him.
⛵ Beautiful kayak manners with my baby and toddler.
⛱️ Waiting at a busy beach for me to get the leash then only hopping from the kayak when told.
🍦 Staying while waiting in a big line for ice cream.
Dog 🐕 Politely greeting a random off leash dog and no pulling on leash around ducks and an array of children, babies, tiny dogs, reactive dogs.
Sometimes the best way to prepare your pup for adventures is taking them all the places.
